I'm riding the Ninebot MAX. There is not a lot of space on the handlebars for accessories. Previously I had the original Ninebot phone holder. I would not recommend this product for two reasons (1) my iPhone jumped out of the holder and smashed on the concrete (2) on a separate occasion I had a minor fender bender and the phone holder broke. The reason why I share this is because if you can only have one accessory on your handlebars then I would recommend this lock. I like how it is not intrusive and I always have it on me. For tying up your scooter whilst grabbing a sandwich from Subway (or in my case, hitting some tennis balls) this is the perfect lock. ... show more

I tested this product before I left home and it worked fine. But two days ago, I used this to lock my electric scooter to a bench at a track field, but it wouldn’t unlock at all. I used my custom password and the default password, but it still wouldn’t unlock. It ended up being jammed. I had to cut through it with a really sharp and strong knife. Good Segway branded lock. Lightweight, yet sturdy. Would probably deter a thief for long enough while you're shopping or sitting in a restaurant. Bike locks require the owner to set them to the owners specifications. To do this, the owner needs to be able to read the manufacturers instructions for setting the code. The manufacturer of this product has a shipping label used to send the product to Amazon that is adhesive and completely covers the instructions for the owner. The label does not come off easily and required the heat from a hair dryer to be removed. This is a nuisance and could prevent the owner from setting the lock if they are unable to remove the shipping label.
