I was upset when I first got it, as any fingerprint seemed to open it. However, after further investigation, I saw that it comes this way until you hold your finger to it for 3 seconds and hear a beep. Then lift your finger and repeat applying it 10 times with the same finger at different angles for about a second and you will hear a beep after each press. After the tenth time, it's done and you can add a person by having them press a finger to it for 3 seconds until it beeps. Then person one scans his or her print to authorize the addition of person 2 and then person 2 scans their print 10 times at 1 second intervals and after the 10th time, it will let you know if it worked. If it wants you to start over, it beeps 4 times and shows a red light. If so, scan the finger for 3 seconds and the the admin finger to verify and scan 10 times. Lock then beeps with a blue light and you can add a 3rd or 4th or 5th user etc etc. I did not use the Android App as I could not find it on Google Play. The user guide is written in English by someone in China and sometimes translation seems a bit tricky. But, the lock is so worth it. The Absolute only problem I have is that it would've been nice if it were just a bit longer. Other than that, This lock is a keeper! ... show more

I was hoping for a bike lock that would provide just enough security to allow quick stops with ease of locking and unlocking. Unfortunately I ran into issues both with the locking mechanism as well as the application. First the application: it was buggy when I attempted a factory reset due to a problem with registering fingure prints the page with that setting appeared blank. In poking at it I found it had hot spots where functionality would happen and there was an active switch point but the text was blanked out or at least was the same color as the background . This could be a problem with IOS dark mode but have not played with that issue yet. Fingerprint registering seemed to be faulty. It seemed to be registering after one touch of the sensor and would then lock and unlock using any finger-a definite glitch. Bluetooth seemed to function okay. But the real issue was the locking mechanism. The bolt latch would not extend far enough to engage with the notch on the cable - so whether in a locked or unlocked state the cable was never secured. In looking at the issue I saw that the locking bolt is a flat piece of metal. I was able to move the latch with a flat piece of plastic far enough that if it could engage the cable it could be unlocked pretty easily. I love this thing. I don't have to worry about losing my key or anyone being able to access it. The only thing is making sure it's charged. Just wish there was a way to have like an alarm or tracker. For the price well worth it

I programmed it just fine and works but not every time first time. I would have to try to unlock multiple times sometimes to open. That was enough to scare me away from depending on it, so I returned mine.

This product is poor quality, 10mm cable blah blah blah. They claim it’s high strength and will fully protect your bicycle! Wrong, I went into Walgreens recently stayed less than five minutes and by the time I came out my bike was gone, Infront at least six other people it happened so easy. Apparently it happens so fast that the witness told me the cable was cut with one easy go. It was also a small cutter, as I saw the footage. My HONBIKE HF01 which is $2k was stolen because I choose this product based on what the ad stated. Do not buy this cheap, inferior, false advertised biometric(yeah right) you have to try at least 10 times each time you try to unlock. Waste of money and put me in more experience that I will have to purchase another ebike as it was my means of transport to my job. ... show more
