The lock works good and it’s awesome to have it attached to the bike while you ride it around. It’s so held up good in the rain and elements without rusting or getting stiff. This will deter most would be thieves. It is still a cable lock and would only take >1 second to cut with a pair of bolt cutters or an angle grinder so it may not be ideal for all scenarios like locking a bike outside unattended for extended periods of time in a back alley. ... show more

    • Lock jammed after just 3 months of regular use
I bought this 3 months ago and it worked well until one day it just wouldn't open. Jammed! And we didn't re-set the code. We had to take the bike apart to get the lock detached...and now I need to buy a new lock.
