The media could not be loaded. I totally love this scooter! I have a lot of experience with scooters. This is my 7th, yes seventh scooter. I just enjoy riding them. I have higher end scooters that are more powerful and faster, but this one is so much fun. I also still have the Segway G30P. They are about the same size, but the F3’s suspension is such a fantastic upgrade. I highly recommend getting a scooter with suspension. It’s such a nicer ride. Operating the F3 is a breeze. I love how tech forward it is, the app makes it so easy. On the display it shows the remaining mileage you have which is such an excellent addition. No more guessing how much range you have left by looking at just the battery display. It’s easy to fold, pick up and go. The weight is nice and light for me to pick up with one hand. It’s a big difference from my 90 pound scooter. It feels very durable and it just looks clean and slick. It’s a great ride and easy to maneuver. I love riding the F3 and I think I’ll be using this more than my other scooters. I highly recommend getting this scooter for the price, range, comfort, build quality, UL certified and just overall fun. P.S. I customized the RGB lights and the additional lights myself, it doesn’t come that way. ... show more

I've been using this scooter since 2022 to commute ~3 miles from Hoboken to NYC. It's light enough to fold and take on the bus or PATH. The folding style makes it compact to fit under a seat in the front of the non-coach buses and allows me to push it folded up like a stroller through the terminal. These are the requirements I had specific to commuting via bus so I have no complaints. It's not fast but you can actually use third party tools to increase the top speed limiter to 16mph which isn't bad for a short commute. Range is completely fine for my commute and I'll use about 1/4 charge each day. The acceleration does decrease significantly as you get towards 50%, but I basically charge every night. It's held up fine on potholes, bumps, rain and even light snow. Periodic cleaning is the only maintenance I've done. Overall great little scooter for specific use cases. ... show more

The scooter was very simple to put together. One electrical connection and six screws. Once it's together, it folds/unfolds very easily, as well. At just under 30lbs, I find it it's pretty easy to carry up/down a flight of stairs one handed. Charging time is accurate, about 3.5 hours to full charge. Getting it started is as easy pressing the power button, giving it a kick, and hitting the throttle. I'm 6'2" tall / 195lbs with a size 12 shoe and the handlebars and deck are tall/wide enough to ride comfortably. The 9" tires are big enough at you don't have to worry about wiping out on every small bump in the road or sidewalk, though you'll definitely want to slow down on bumpy terrain. The top speed of about 12.5mph is easily reached in standard mode (the middle of the three performance modes available). It slows down a bit during inclines, but I haven't had to get off and walk it up a hill yet. If 12.5mph seems slow to you, especially compared to some of the more expensive electric scooters out there, trust me when I say that unless you're riding on perfectly level terrain you are not going to be safe going much faster! The lack of any kind of suspension means that you can really feel every crack in the sidewalk. On thing I'm a little disappointed with is the range. I've been commuting to/from work every day this week on the scooter. It's 5 miles round trip, mostly at full throttle with the lights on, and it uses 70% of the battery. Note also that once your battery level hits 10% the scooter automatically slows down to the point that you might as well walk. So the realistic usable range for me is more like 6.5 miles on a full charge, about half of what the manufacturer claims. Then again, it's only been about 25-35 degrees F this week so that may account for some loss of range. Ultimately, I am happy with the scooter since it works for my use case as a commuter. It's fast enough (I make the 2.5 mile trip each way in 15 minutes) and has enough range to get me there and back. And it's inexpensive so it will pay for itself in gasoline savings within about 6 months. I'll update this review if the scooter doesn't last that long, but it seems pretty well built so I'm optimistic. UPDATE (July 4, 2021): Since I wrote my original review above I've driven an additional 300km (~185 miles) and I'm happy to report that the scooter still performs the same. I can confirm that the battery usage is a little better in warmer weather. In 60-70 degree F temperatures I'm getting about 10% battery drain per mile driven. That said, I am considering upgrading to a more expensive scooter (Segway MAX G30LP) for three reasons: 1. While I do still feel like going even 13mph on uneven terrain is dangerous, now that I've found some relatively flat back roads for my commute I do find myself wishing I go a few miles per hour faster. 2. The 300W motor slows to about walking speed on steeper hills. Yeah, it still moves, but it just feels a little embarrassing to be moving so slow when pedestrians are around. 3. The solid tires and the lack of any kind of suspension really does make the ride quite uncomfortable on bumpy roads and sidewalks. I would still absolutely recommend the E22 as a first scooter for someone who's on the fence about riding an electric scooter. It's a great combination of high quality, low cost, and decent performance, especially when it's on sale. UPDATE 2 (August 3, 2021): I added the optional external battery in the hopes of gaining some additional speed and power. Indeed, with the external battery installed, the scooter now gets an extra 4-5kph (~3 mph), including during hill climbs. Even so, I'm not sure I'd recommend the external battery option because of how it's designed. The external battery plugs into the stem of the scooter using a small plastic connector, and the battery is held in place by a metal bracket. The battery connects to the bracket using two small screws. Other users online have reported that these screws can loosen during operation due to the normal shocks and vibrations experienced during riding. With the screws loosened, those shocks and vibrations can then end up damaging plastic connector on the battery. I was able to confirm myself that, yes, after installing the battery and taking a few test rides, the screws did already require some re-tightening. So instead of only trusting the screws to keep the battery secure, I also used a couple of stainless steel worm gear hose clamps. This workaround means that the battery definitely isn't going anywhere now, but it looks kind of tacky. ... show more

Pre-ordered this over a month ago, back in April, and it never arrived. Many times would show as will be delivered on a date..then it wouldn’t be. It was never shipped. Come to find out, many others had this same issue. Had to contact Amazon many times and then finally someone helped me by ‘returning’ the order that never shipped and ‘replacing’ my unit with a new order. It finally actually shipped last week and arrived today. It is a VERY nice e-scooter but it seems flawed and unsafe, at least the unit I received. The rear fender rattles like a can of spray paint and the front end has a lot of play to it. Even with the steering column properly locked in place and tightened to spec, the front wheel moves side to side a lot, it certainly can’t be normal. The tech, the softness of the ride, etc are very nice there’s no denying that. The screen with display readout is great. Sadly, I will be returning it because I can’t trust it being safe to ride with the front end loose and unstable. If anyone already placed an order but keep getting delayed delivery dates, contact Amazon until you get someone that’ll help you replace the order with a different unit/new order. It should solve your problem why you never got your order. The Segway f3 is a nice e scooter if you can get a proper unit but beware, from reading online it seems that loose front ends isn’t something new with Segway on their e-scooters. ... show more
