Probably the best scooter available! I consider this scooter a mid-range scooter. Compared to other mid-range scooters this one stands out. It has a decent range, Max speed is 15 mph, it's sleek design gives it sexy look compared to other scooters. I feel non-pneumatic (flat-free) tires are a must, in fact I strongly suggest not to get pneumatic tires because it's almost impossible to replace the tire if you get a flat. However, not all non-pneumatic tires are the same, mainly because the scooter needs to have a shock absorber, otherwise it will be an ugly bumpy ride. The cruise feature is nice and the ambient lights on the bottom are a plus. The only thing I miss from the previous model is the folding design, this one folds into somewhat of a triangle, which doesn't allow for it to fit under most commute trains (the previous version folded flat, parallel to the base). I was excited to ride my E2+2 scooter. It was in my possession for 110+ days (according to the app) before I made my maiden voyage (after the initial test run). After my first ride I thought for everything it was- it was(and is) a great value. So much so I was about to purchase another to keep over my cousins house so I would have one there when I visited. I enjoyed and appreciated the customization options and settings for lighting and max speeds for each mode. There are even an option for a flashing rainbow spectrum of LEDs under the deck, if ur into that kind of thing/setup. Prior to charging for my second day of riding - I decided to upgrade the firmware on the app. The description of fixes it applied seemed beneficial. Next day I am charged (and it is charged) and we are ready to tackle the hazards of my daily commute. In just 2 days and 10 miles at least 6 people have stopped me to ask me about the scooter. They want to know ofc the price and where they can get one (usually I just shrug my shoulders and calmly say- the place where one gets everything (from A to Z)). I wasn't bothered the inquiry of others, because I used to do the same thing before I decided to make this purchase. I remember even stepping in front of one guy as he was passing by so he would stop. However I can't say I recommend utilizing that tactic. But nevertheless getting back to my experience. Day 2 I am on the long stretch as I approach a hill. Because it is a similar path from yesterday's memory I know I need to max out(speed) to make sure I can manage the hill. But for some reason though my scooter was limited to just 12 mph. My bewilderment had me glancing at my display several times because I assumed this must be an error. No worries I thought I must have accidentally altered the settings for sport mode. I reasoned once I begin my descend I will reach the my previous max speed. I head downhill and still only 12mph on the display. Np I thought I will just change the settings in the app once I get to my destination. As I peruse the app I see there was no longer an option to adjust the speeds for each mode, hmmmm. I thought hopefully this wasn't because I declined the rainbow spectrum. OK I will just look in the app to return the device to the default settings. I didn't see an option for that either. I opened a chat with Segway support anxious for their assistance to help me get back my 3 mph which isn't a lot except when it is a 20% decrease in your top speed on your second day on the commute. The rep I talked to ask me several questions but later stated there is no option to return the default setting/setup. I thought it's 2026 wdym? I decided possibly I need to do my own research. I found and tried several procedures to attempt via AI, youtube, etc. but none actually worked for my model. Well now at least my battery will last for 10 years only problem is some seniors will pass me as they are walking up the same hill I am trying to scoot up. This will remind me of the days when Al Bundy use to walk his car home and Bud would ask wouldn't it be slightly faster to walk without the car? ... show more

Quality built scooter. Online app easy to use. 46 inch height makes more stable ride for shorter adults and teens. Nice acceleration with thumb accelerator. It folds easy but the handlebars go off to one side due to the way the latch hooks, unlike the NUI KQI 100 F which has folding handlebars, air-filled tires, and is cheaper plus goes faster 17mph compared to the Segway’s 15mph). I love Segway! this is my third purchase of a nine bot scooter. The first time lasted a year second time lasted two years now I got another - even with heavy use commuting to work daily and even in light rain snow weather extremes I can say it’s worth it. Don’t hesitate affordable transportation no hassle of a drivers license or Insurance not even the cost of gas just charge at a regular wall outlet at home easy. Excellent buy. I have purchased 4 segway scooters in the past 3 years. I just got this one for my 11 year old granddaughter who is adult size. She loves it. I don’t recall in the description that it had under mount lights. So I bought lights she could add. Turns out it does. Maybe that should be highlighted?? (Or this old lady missed it). FYI, I have had no problems with the Segway scooters I have purchased. I recommend them. They are all still running on original batteries. ... show more

I bought the Segway Ninebot E2 Plus II for my daughter’s birthday, and it’s been a huge hit. She absolutely loves it. From the moment she opened it, she was riding it nonstop. The setup was quick and straightforward, which I appreciated. Build quality feels solid, exactly what you’d expect from Segway, and it gives me some peace of mind knowing it’s not a cheap, flimsy scooter.
