Having a pair of batteries packaged and shipped together gave me a unique opportunity to provide an apple-to-apple comparison of the batteries to see how "tight" the manufacturing and materials of these batteries are from this seller. I'm making the assumption these two batteries were manufactured at the same time, in the same facility, and with the same materials. Based on that assumption, I proceeded to compare these batteries as best as I am able with the equipment I have. As this is an initial review, I am only rating these batteries on the few things I can quantify and compare. 1. Initial voltage when received. Per the attached photos, both batteries had the same initial voltage of 13.23V. This shows all battery elements were working properly, and both batteries tested the same. 2. Initial charging. I use an objective measure of how long the initial charging takes. I use a charger specific to LiFePO4 batteries that has an output voltage of 14.6V and 2A, which is within the recommendations for these batteries. The batteries fully charged (based on charger's status light) within a reasonable amount of time (in this case less than 4 hours). 3. Voltage immediately after charging. This value is usually close to the charging voltage (14.6 in this case), and drops fairly quickly to the battery's "natural" voltage. In this case, both batteries' voltages immediately after charging was 14.33V. Again, both batteries matched. 4. Voltage after charging and given time to stabilize. This is the voltage that the batteries should stabilize at. In this case, I tested again about 16 hours after charging and that voltage was 14.06V for Battery #1 and 14.00V for Battery #2. This is very close to a perfect match. I will say, this voltage after 16 hours is about 0.5V higher than a 7AH battery I've tested in the same manner. This may be a good indication that the capacity of these batteries (10AH) is genuinely higher than the 7AH battery of the same form factor. All of these values are consistent with what I've found with 12V LiFePO4 batteries having a similar form factor. I have no reason not to give these batteries 5 stars as an initial review. If I find any issues or concerns, I'll update this review accordingly. ... show more

  • Great back up power
We set these up for emergency lighting at our backup generator station and backup power for our cell phone signal booster. We live out in a very rural area that is subject to severe weather. (The kind of weather where you are wondering if you should build an ark, or start training the dogs for a sled team). We have set up multiple variable voltage LED work lights that will work at voltage as low as six volts. Out cell phone signal booster runs on a 5v DC power transformer. These batteries have been put to the test on a couple of occasions with full loads. They have performed like rock stars with lots of energy! We have not been disappointed. One battery is set up on a solar float charger with a combination DC dimmer switch to power up the lights at the generator. The other battery is set up with an AC - float charger and is equipped with a 100w inverter to power the AC transformer for the cell signal booster. If we loose power, we general give it a few minutes to restore. After five minutes we switch plugs on the cell booster, once it is powered up the SEFEPODER 12V 10Ah LiFePO4 battery keeps it up and running for 12 plus hours. The light set for the generator area will last for well beyond 12 hours especially if we dial back the brightness. We are new to using LiFePO4 batteries. I really like the built in safety features of the batteries. The 10Ah power reserve is incredible when compared to a standard lead acid battery. SEFEPODER seems to provide a decent battery.   • Compact and work even in freezing temperatures unlike my old battery.
I have a couple of small solar setups. I have one in my gazebo and a smaller one in my car. I like having a solar setup in my car for camping, emergencies, or anytime I need portable power. I had a single 12v 15ah battery in my car. The problem was that every time the temperature fell under 38 degrees, the battery would stop working even though it was rated for way lower temps. I got these batteries to replace that one, and I'm so glad I did. The first thing I noticed about these batterirs is how compact in size they are. They are tiny compared to my old 15ah. They came charge to 13.4v. Here in Massachusetts, we can get some pretty cold nights. Since I installed these batteries, the coldest night we've had was like 10 degrees. Unlike my old battery, even with these frigid temperatures, these batteries stay working. I ran these batteries in parallel, so I get 12v 20ah out of them. I am very happy with them. I have a lot of low voltage electronics. I run spot lights off of them when I bring my dog to the park to watch for coyotes. This allows me to power stuff without leaving my car running. I sit in my car for up to an hour when I bring my mother to a doctors appointment. Again, I don't have to run my car and waste gas to use my heated blanket, charge my phone, or power one of my other devices. I've only had these batteries for a few weeks, so I can't speak on their longevity, but so far, they have out preformed my previous battery. No more wondering if my batteries will be working on a cold day if I need them for an emergency. If they last a long time, I would definitely order from this company again.
