It is important to know that these are lightweight, and the effect is created by 2 different zebra sections which cross as the blind goes up or down. I don't know how durable these are, but for my purposes, it really doesn't matter as they are not likely to be touched now that they have been installed. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to use these because I needed an inside mount and I did not have enough depth in my window trim but I doubt I would have kept them anyway, they looked like they would fall apart if one of my grandkids touched them.
