First let me state that I'm impressed with the grinder along with the seller. This particular grinder caught my eye when I was checking out the offerings Amazon now had available. I was specifically looking for any recent additions to the battery operated grinder line. I had upgraded from a corded to a battery powered grinder several months ago to free myself from the dreaded extension cord. I rarely used my corded grinder after owning it for more than 20 years because of the additional steps needed to run an extension cord outside which is the only place I can use a grinder. Also, the trip hazard incurred by the cord was always present. Freeing myself from the cord was great, but as I used the new grinder I realized it sounded and operated like it wasn't going to last all that long. The cutting disc took about 5 seconds to stop spinning after release of the trigger which was problematic on its own and, additionally, I really disliked having to use a screwdriver to reposition the guard. The old corded grinder didn't require using a screwdriver, but even then it wasn't all that easy to reposition the guard when needed, which for me is fairly often. After reading over the SEESII listing I got excited. To think, no screwdriver needed, no cord to trip over, 2 seconds to stop the blade and as a bonus, the Flathead design allowing you to more easily reach recessed areas could be a great feature to have on a grinder. I was sold so I bought the grinder and I'm happy to say, I'm glad I did. As soon as placed my hand on the grinder and lifted it out of the box I knew I had made a good choice. It felt solid, well balanced and comfortable to hold. That has definitely been the case as I've used it several times now. I had a job requiring the use of a grinder that I needed to take care of for my wife. I used both of the battery powered grinders for the job to compare one against the other and wow, what a pleasure it was when it was the SEESII grinders turn to perform. Night and day better than the other grinder. Comfortable to hold and use. As advertised, the disc stops spinning within 2 seconds. The extended head design was great. For me, it made it much easier to see what I was doing with the tool. I love the design for positioning the guard and the fact that the guard can spin a full 360 degrees unlike either of the grinders I have used before it. I found that installing or replacing a disc is easier to do with this grinder versus my other one. Reading this, you probably would think this is a perfect grinding tool and it is close. The ability to select different speeds was useful, but I found the battery life not to be as long as I expected. In addition, the on/off switch took a bit of practice to get the hang of and I was worried at first that it might not hold up over time, but having dealt with the seller directly and learning the tool is warrantied for 3 years, I think it isn't something to worry about. About the battery, when I placed my order I thought, because of the picture shown in the listing, that the grinder came with two batteries, not one. If you have projects that are extensive and time sensitive to complete, you need to have 2 batteries. The supplied charger is good, but running out of juice and having to wait 2.5 hours to fully recharge is a concern. I would recommend that the seller offer another purchase option, one that includes 2 batteries and a carry case. Hope they consider this, because this grind is excellent otherwise. If you are in the market for a grinder, I don't think you'd be making a mistake in buying this one.

This thing is really something special. It's light and a bit quieter and for my purposes it cuts through rebar very nicely. I haven't had a big enough project to run down the battery but 5000mAh will probably go a long way.

Item appears to be a good quality, however ON/OFF switch is difficult to operate specially when you wear a work gloves. Otherwise it is working great. Also, when looking on the site it creates appearance that it comes with 2 batteries but it comes only with 1. You have read description really carefully to see it.

First SeeSii item I'm giving 4 stars to instead of 5, BUT ONLY because the wheels it came with are incredibly dangerous when they spontaneously break apart at high speeds before touching the part youre working on with them. The tool itself is fantastic, absolutely love the flat head profile, it allowed me to get into places I normally wouldn't be able to. I got inside our old metal bedframe to cut it up, which my other "red brand" grinder with the fat head wasn't able to fit into. I've also used it to cut a tire off a wheel, and with a large ball deburring style bit to make a bowl shape in a chunk of fence post so it butted up to another round peice better (think Lincoln log style). So it's extremely versatile. Battery life is what you would expect for a grinder, but it's ok because I have like 30 Seesii batteries now AND it accepts Makita batteries as well. The weight is pretty balanced in my opinion, heavy enough that you can trust it's going to hold up, but light enough you aren't getting fatigued easily. The kit came with some grinding wheels and flap discs, as well as battery, charger, tool, spanner, guard, and handle. Everything that you see in the picture. I highly recommend only using the provided discs at low speeds/for light duty as 2 of mine shattered and send pieces flying everywhere the second they touched the part. Again, that is the only reason for taking one star off, otherwise the tool is fantastic and it's an amazing value. So much so that I've been recommending the Seesii brand to everyone who talks about needing a new X tool.
