I was replacing the gas tank emblems on my Harley Davidson motorcycle. They’re attached with 3M tape. I was using a plastic scraper tool to get behind the emblem as I heated it up. I learned real quick that this puppy puts out the heat and the metal of the gas tank as well as the emblem got pretty warm to the point of being hot to the touch and kind of melted my plastic scraper a little bit. I turned the heat down and then it worked beautifully. The first emblem that I heated took longer because I had never done it before, but once I caught on the second one came off in half the time. This seems to be very well-made I was highly impressed. It puts out some serious heat so be careful. I thought the price was reasonable. I highly recommend this if you need a heat gun.

I was told that to remove the wrap on my suv I would be charge by the hour to have a shop do it. After doing some research I thought I would give it a try. The heat gun worked perfectly and I was able to remove the wrap in a few hours. The multiple heat settings was a plus as well as the different tips. I gave it only 4 stars because of the poor design of the heat knob. It is too loose and if you're not careful the heat settings changes. The knob needs to lock into the temperature settings. All in all the cost of the gun was far cheaper than the estimated cost of having the shop remove it.

I work with a lot of vinyl decals, this was the perfect tool for me to get remove the stickers & as much adhesive as possible the first go around. I especially like that this heat gun has a temp dial, I was able to use it on a plastic signboard without melting anything, also worked great on aluminum, glass, and metal with a gloss/painted coat.

Had to get some glued on shelving of the wall...this heat gun worked perfectly, it heats up quickly and it's not heavy so holding it for an extended amount of time was no problem, it also comes with different attachments to direct your heat where you need it..Most definitely recommend this !

Works great and heats up quickly. The temperature adjustment is convenient, and it has worked without any issues so far. Good quality for the price. Definitely a solid choice for occasional projects around the house.

Got the job done. Good heat gun. I used 3-4 heat setting to remove car insulator fabrics. Came off like butter. Probably used it for 4 to 5 hours. No issues whatsoever. Worked like it should. 14 gauge extension cord. Don't be afraid to crank up the heat if you have to. Researched hard before purchasing. This was the cheapest best deal I found. I'm glad it pulled through for me when I needed it. Seems to be a well-built heat gun. ADHESIVE REMOVAL TIPS: (I was a little worried at first about making it too hot, so I stuck with using the lowest heat settings, so I was having a hard time removing the car insulator. I increased the heat, and it finally started coming off easily. Cutting down the time and workload immensely.) (This heat gun should have no problem removing anything stuck on by adhesives. It makes it very easy to remove things and should not require you to use much force at all. It loosens up the adhesive and makes it gooey, and whatever's on it can come right off. It's very useful and essential tool. If whatever's stuck on doesn't come off, you'll need to increase the heat. 3 - 4 heat setting seems to be good in removing car insulator material. 1 - 2 were completely ineffective for me.) (avoid excessive pressure/heat on car panels such as the roof, when heating. heat + pressure = dent/warpage) (avoid touching heated elements, scrapers, tools, and surfaces. I knew this, but I still managed to burn myself. The heat can get to you. You'll get unbearably hot and sweaty, and you may let go of your better judgement and go to remove the plastic razor blade from the metal scraper holder.) (Heat guns and scrapers won't be able to remove all the adhesives left on the surfaces, but that's where adhesive remover comes in.)
