Description

Urea 46% Nitrogen Fertilizer Bulk Granular Urea Urea fertilizer provides a rich source of nitrogen for crops. It is highly soluble and can be applied to the soil or used as a foliar spray for some plants (such as wheat and vegetables). It is important to incorporate urea fertilizer into soil rather than leaving it on top, especially when using it with high pH soils. Due to the chemical makeup of urea, nitrogen can be lost to the atmosphere in the form of ammonia gas if the fertilizer is not mixed in or irrigated heavily. Urea fertilizer can be mixed with calcium cyanamide, mono- or diammonium phosphate, or sulphate of potash. It is not recommended for mixing with superphosphate fertilizers.

    • Great, several uses
In the winter, used as ice melt. Doesn't really melt the ice, but gives good traction. Added benefit is it doesn't hurt the concrete or kill the grass like salt. Grass in the spring next to the sidewalk is thick and lush. Spread the rest on the lawn to get all of it looking thick and healthy

    • Bermuda is a nitrogen hog
I use urea weekly. I apply .2 lbs of nitrogen per one thousand sq ft of lawn. I dissolve in water and spray. It’s called spoon feeding. I do not get an explosion of growth and it does not burn the grass. Dissolving and spraying urea is the cheapest way to fertilize my 25 k sq ft lawn. This is 46% nitrogen and will cause your Bermuda grass to grow and fill in bare spots. It’s the only way to go. ... show more
