This is a nice little bread box. It is attractive and operates well and looks good on the cabinet. But it is just not quite big enough for our needs. It will hold a loaf of bread and a pack of hot dog buns but will not accommodate a pack of hamburger buns at the same time. When two or three slices of bread are gone from a standard size loaf, the rest of the loaf fits more comfortably than a full loaf. Also works even better when a couple of hot dog or hamburger buns are missing, too. We liked it enough to not send it back, but we will have to get a second one to handle our bread volume, especially if my wife buys a roll of bagels, too. ... show more

I love this bread box! I had ordered a different one, but when I put it on my counter I realized it was too big and took up way too much of my counter. Not only that, the lid could not open fully as it would bump into the upper cabinets. I sent that one back and ordered this one instead. This little beauty not only looks great in my kitchen, it is the perfect size. I can store two loaves of bread, some bagels and a package of tortillas in it, and yet it doesn't take up much room. I also love the fact that there is no lid to take off and set somewhere, or that it doesn't have a lid with a hinged door that swings up. This door slides up right into itself which means it is never in the way. It is super cute, and fits right in with my decor. Great purchase! ... show more
