My plants love this soil. They are getting bigger and look happy. I got this version because it doesn't stink at all. The soil stays moist longer, dont need to water as often. I used this to repot my plants that were all roots. Now they have some space and sprouting up new leaves. I'm no expert but it worked out anyway.

I'm happy with this seed starter with one exception, I would like to see it be finer with less wood products in the mix. I ran it through a screen and lost 10% of the weight. But I screen everything as new seed roots do better in fine starter.

Tried different souls and this one is boggy yet costs way more than others and that’s why I wanted to try it but nope, my seeds that sprouted soon died as it wouldn’t dry out for soooo long and the rest never sprouted. If I were an earthworm I could tell you more. I used all the soil in one pot with some orchid drainage soil and put all the catnip I ordered from Amazon in that pot this week. The young plants look like they are dancing while trying out their new freedom and food. Cats are inside while the plants grow up outside. >^..^<
