This pair of lamps come well packaged and very simple to assemble. The shade is in line with the lamps that are online orders, in that, they come rolled up and clip simply to a metal ring to create a completed shade with a velcro strip that you need to rotate to the back to hide it. A bulb is included for each lamp. The color is a muted shade but has a gloss finish over it. They are not large in size and decent for accent light, such as in an office or so. They would be too small for me to use a lamp on a nightstand. They placed the switch on the cord, which I really don't care for. I would much prefer it be on the base so it is much easier to find in the dark and also, when it is on the cord, you then have to be strategic in how you have the cord laid out so that you can access the on/off switch on the cord. The package of 2 lamps was nicer than expected. I ordered the green. It is not a dark color, which is great. It is more in the line of a nice sage color. I feel that it will work with many color pallets such as grays, neutral tans, white, pale yellow, black, blues. It will also work well as a color "pop". The lamps have a nice gloss shine to the ceramic teardrop base. The style is very clean and modern. It was easy to assemble the lampshades. The set also includes 2 lightbulbs that are energy efficient. In my opinion these are best used as accent table lamps and nightstand lamps. Given that they are just over 19 inches from base bottom to lampshade top, they are not a lamp that will light up an entire room. They are not made for that purpose. At this point in time, I am happy I ordered them since they are versatile in many areas of my home. The lamps are packed in styrofoam and the individual pieces are in plastic sleeves. There is minimal to no movement in the box. I cannot see how they would arrive broken with the way they are well protected. Great job with the marketing and packaging. ... show more

These arrived in good shape, no cracks or chips. Well packaged and protected. Although the box looked as if someone used it for a bowling ball. The lightbulbs were even included. The only drawback I noted was the assembly of the lampshades. I'm a bit confused as to why they wouldn't just ship assembled as they would have fit in package with the lamps. These nightstand lamps are cute and add a lovely pop of color to my bedroom. I liked how compact and lightweight they are, making them easy to move around. However, I didn’t like the rocker switch, as it feels a bit flimsy and not very durable. The light is also quite dim, making it more of a decorative piece than a functional bedside lamp.
