  • Worth the money, works great!
Size: 8.4oz Color: Black
This is just like a professional frother! It heats up the milk perfectly with a nice foam! I love it!!

  • Makes a nice froth for your latte.
Size: 16.9oz Color: Stainless Steel
This Secura milk frother works very well to heat and froth milk for homemade lattes. I’ve had it for a few months now and use it nearly every day. It has performed very well for me. It should not be listed as a milk steamer, as there is no steam involved with this. The best froth comes from using regular milk, but I usually use oat milk or almond milk and it froth those as well. Just not as dense a froth as with regular milk. I clean it as soon as I’m finished using it and find it very easy to clean. It does heat the milk to a temperature I like. If froths enough milk for two lattes, so I generally only fill it to the minimum line. ... show more

  • Heats oat milk like a dream! Heats oat milk like a dream!
Size: 8.4oz Color: Stainless Steel
I’m on my 2nd purchase of this awesome little Secura milk frother/heater. I purchased my 1st one over 4 yrs ago and it was still going strong. I made the mistake of using a metal spoon with it, however, and the coating inside started to show some wear, so I decided to update to a new one and only use a silicone spatula with it. I only use the heat function since I put oat milk in it and that doesn’t froth well. Oat milk heats like a dream for my morning latte. Watch that you don’t fill it past the appropriate fill line marked inside (depending on if you’re using the heat or froth disk) so it doesn’t spill over. This hasn’t been a problem just heating oat milk, but I’ve seen other reviewers saying the froth function may do that. Overall, very happy with both my purchases. I can make my own latte’s at home for a fraction of the cost vs a local coffee shop! ... show more

  • Decent frother, but not long lasting
Size: 8.4oz Color: Black
Purchased in April 2023. Really enjoyed this frother to make lattes/cappuccinos. Worked perfectly fine up until recently (December 2024). Milk started to boil over, spilling out and creating a mess unless I was able to watch it and stop the machine just prior to it boiling over. Fast forward a few weeks of that and now it won’t start at all. Thought this product would’ve lasted longer. Pros: Easy to operate & clean / makes a nice, hot froth Cons: Lasted less than 2 years, malfunctioned frequently towards the end of its life ... show more

  • Good product, excellent customer service, long lasting
Size: 8.4oz Color: Stainless Steel
I bought this milk frother back in March 2017. I used it only on weekends and loved it. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and does an excellent job of heating and frothing milk for cappuccino. Then a week ago (Oct 14) it quit working completely. No light, no spinning, no heating. Dead. I wrote to Secura customer service the same day, which was a Saturday, sending a copy of the invoice from Amazon. I fully expected that they would tell me to send the defective unit back to them and they would repair or replace it. I knew I wouldn't spend the money and time it would take to pack it up and send it back. I was so sure that in the meantime I ordered a different frother on Amazon, from a different manufacturer. Much to my surprise Secura answered me a few hours later, telling me to unplug it, cut the cord of the frother near the base and send them a picture of the disabled unit, whereupon they would send me a new one. I could hardly believe it, but I did as they asked, then rushed back to Amazon's site to cancel the other order. Today, Oct 19, only 5 days after the first one died, which includes a weekend, I have a brand new frother. I'm going to assume that my original one was a bad apple which failed after a relatively short time, and that the replacement unit will work for a long time. The product works well and Secura's customer service is friendly, rapid and hassle-free. Update August 2023: The replacement unit sent to me for free by the company in 2017 finally gave up the ghost. I used it at least once a day (sometimes 4 or 5 times a day) since 2017 and I'm perfectly satisfied that a $35 product would last that long. So I ordered a new one. It seems to be nearly identical to my older unit, but modernized slightly with new markings and now available in black as well as chrome. An inexpensive product that lasts for 7 years of daily use is a good one in my book. ... show more

  • Great product!
Size: 16.9oz Color: Stainless Steel
This thing has been a real work horse for us for more than a year and it looks nice on our counter. Nice looking, easy use, easy to clean. It still works great but if it broke down I’d for sure buy the same one again.

  • Great Frother at a Great Price
Size: 8.4oz Color: Stainless Steel
I had a similar frother that lasted about three years, so it was time for a new one—and I’m super happy with this one. It works like a charm, warms my milk perfectly, and makes a nice, creamy foam for my morning coffee. It fits nicely on the counter and doesn’t take up much room. The price is great, it looks sleek on my countertop, and honestly, it would make a great gift for anyone who loves coffee. ... show more

  • Good value.
Size: 8.4oz Color: Stainless Steel
This review is for the 250 ml Secura Automatic Electric Milk Frother and Warmer. I like an espresso macchiato, and an occasional latte. I decided to try an automatic frother for a few reasons. First, I’m the only coffee drinker in my household, so I only need a very small amount of milk. It is very difficult to steam a very small amount of milk, So using the steam wand on my espresso machine is somewhat wasteful. Second, my espresso machine is a single boiler type. So I cannot quickly transition between pulling a shot and steaming milk. I figured I can froth milk with an automatic frother at the same time as pulling a shot, saving time. Finally, cleanup after steaming is sometimes a PITA, though only if I’m careless and splash, or if I don’t wipe the wand right away. I have experience with one other automatic frother, a Nesp-----o (original version) that a coworker has. I have used his a few times. But that one costs more than twice what the Secura cost. As far as my goals, this frother hit them all. I can froth as little as 100 ml (measured prior to frothing). So there is still some waste when making a macchiato, but much less than when steaming. If I start the frother just before tamping my grounds, it finishes shortly after pulling the shot. And cleanup is easy. Immediately after using it I rinse it in warm water. There is a film of cooked/burnt milk on the bottom that is easily wiped away with a paper towel. Another quick rinse and I’m done. And I like that it has a handle and a pour spout. The negatives: Very minor point: as I said, cleanup is easy. But I don’t recall my coworker’s frother forming that film on the bottom. Maybe his heats more evenly or slowly. The lid does not seal in the area around the spout. So if you fill it to near the limit (250ml for hot froth) you will get leakage out that location onto the base and your counter. This would be a problem but for the fact that I won’t normally froth more than the minimum. So that spout that I like comes at a cost. And this would be a better product without it. Finally, and most importantly, the froth is not super awesome. I generally get a layer of foam floating on a bed of hot milk. That foam is somewhere between the dry foam you’d want for cappuccino, and the wet micro-foam wanted for a latte or macchiato. So nowhere near as nice as what you can do with a good steam wand. I think my coworker’s frother does a better job – though it also is not as good as a steam wand. I see in other reviews advice to try different brands/grades of milk. That may be good advice. But I’ll not be bothered. It also seems to do somewhat better when filled near it’s max (250ml) than where I use it at about 100ml. But even then it is not great, and there’s the leakage issue. In summary, I find this frother to be worth what I paid for it. When I use it I’m sacrificing quality for convenience. If entertaining, I’ll steam the milk. But when it’s just me wanting a quick macchiato, this frother will do. ... show more
