These were so easy to setup and have so many different chimes. If you need a doorbell and don't want to set it up wirelessly, but don't want to have to get a electrician to run wires to your home, then this is the product for you. We just plugged in the sensor in the house in an electric outlet, just like you would plug in anything else. Somehow that sensor speaks to the doorbell itself. Then we stuck the doorbell to the outside door on the door frame and it rings more than loud enought through the entire house. We bought two with two sensors. One for the far end door and the other for other end of the house where we have another door. So, all we need was two electric outlets in the house to put the sensors in and stick the doorbells outside. I recommended it to my Sister-in-law, who can't afford a technician. She has a manufactured home with add on rooms. She did the same thing. She plugged the sensor into her livingroom outlet and then stuck the doorbell on her front door frame outside and she had a doorbell. It has 50 different chimes you can choose from. You just have to hold down the side button and get to the chime you want. We got this around Christmas time, so our first chime was a We wish you a Merry Christmas chime. It was cute. I didn't have time to change it and go through all the other chimes, so I just have the regular ding dong chime. My house is 64 feet in length and I can hear the far end chime easily from the other side of the house. You can lower that sound or put the sound up. Yes...I would highly recommend if you are not looking for a wi-fi door bell or picture door bell and don't want to call an electrician to put in a door bell. It sticks just fine as it just went through the winter and we have had no problems. I will see how it does in hot weather for the summer, but I think it will do just fine. ... show more

The chime works great put the ringers at each end of the house, not sure we will keep both plugged in 1 in the middle of the house is plenty loud, lots of tones to choose from.
