The foam at the waterfall portion in my Herman Miller Mirra v1 was shot and it was hurting the back of my thighs when I sat in it for more than an hour. I read somewhere on Reddit that this cushion would work as the only other option was to replace the whole seat frame. I pulled out the completely worn-through portion of the pad, wiped the offending portion of the frame clean and crammed this in there. It's not perfect, but for 5% of the cost of the frame, I'd say it's 75% as comfortable. Also, it's getting better as is sit in it more. Would recommend!

Contrary to some reviews, this does not fit remastered or new Aerons. At all. It's too large to fit under the mesh, and if you jam it in it feels uncomfortable and is a lump under your knees. This might work to replace old Aeron cushions, but if you picked up a new Aeron avoid this product.

I purchased for my remastered edition based on a review here. While it wasn't super problematic, I felt that occasionally my legs rest on the frame of the seat pan which is somewhat uncomfortable for a long period of time. After doing some research and sleuthing, I found that the design from the classic to the remastered is mostly the same, but only a 1% increase in forward tilt in the chair to reduce pressure in the seat pan edge. However, it seems that there is a net benefit to the cushion regardless of the minor changes on the remastered edition. This pad lined up and fit nicely, though I have no understanding of how it compares to stock. It sits a bit high at first, but it is super soft foam which flattened to the curve of the pan very quickly. Would recommend for those interested in marginally improving comfort on an already great chair at a very low price point.

I was gifted a Herman Miller Classic and before putting it to use I grabbed a few items from around Amazon to freshen it up. I thought I might have to replace the seat, but I thought I would try this first. I got it and when I opened it and compared it to the one in there, it looked way too small. However, looking into it a bit further, it was not. The material is designed to kind of smush out and fill the space. Once I installed it and sat in it for a few days it started to mold its way it into the seat and filled it. Seat feels brand new and supportive again. 8 hour workdays followed by gaming ain't no thing.

This was a perfect replacement for my size C chair. Clearly the old pad was smashed down and thinned out. It was easiest to remove the 12 screws from the bottom and take the mesh off the chair. Clean the surface and apply the new pad. Screwing the mesh back down was a bit more tough since the pad bumped it out further, but I alternated from the left and right side towards the front center until it was fully installed. Great option to reconditioning your chair.

Perfect replacement for foam pad on Aeron size C. Exact right size and thickness. Also, the adhesive tape backing was easy enough to remove, unlike some other reports here. I highly recommend removing the mesh seat before attempting to replace the foam pad. Just turn the chair over (on carpet preferably), and remove the ring of screws around the perimeter of the seat. Turn the chair back upright, and pull the mesh panel out, using your fingers to pry out the plastic ring holding it to the chair. This gives easy access to the pad, and enables a perfect fit. Repeat the steps in reverse to reassemble the chair. Good as new!

Fitment is mostly fine. I wish it were as long/tapered out as far as the OEM ones did. Seems a bit thick but I'm sure it'll compress with time - hopefully will still be thick enough to be comfortable. Docked a star because the adhesive came off with the wax paper. Friction and sitting on it will probably keep it in place, but the peace of mind from the adhesive might have been nice too.
