Not bad quality, but this thing is WAY TOO BIG! I ordered for a Suzuki 225. If Suzuki made an 850hp, this would still be way too big. Ridiculous size that blows off even with the cord cinched down. This company needs to go back to the old drawing board for a new set of patterns!

This is a simple motor cover design to fit a size range of outboards in general and not a specific manufacturer and model. The material is 600D polyester, not heavier canvas material. It will probably last a few years. As I was posting the pictures, it appears to be a lighter color blue laying on the driveway then on the motor, it is the same cover and it is a darker navy blue. I got the 225-300 for my 300 HP outboard and the cover is loose on. It only has an elastic draw cord at the bottom, no other straps to hold it tight. To protect your invest in your motor, covering it is a good idea. This cover will protecting your outboard sitting in the driveway from sun and rain. at a reasonable price. I would not trailer with it on nor use it while docked (overnight) or on a lift due as it is because of the concern of the being blow off.

Briefly: The "Seapisode 600D … Outboard Motor Cover " seems to be made with a durable water resistant material. I am not sure how fade resistant it is. The seams are sewn nicely with 3 rows of stitches and contrasting reflective piping. The hem has one row of stitches. The drawstring (nylon NOT elastic) is easier to pull than the seat covers I have. The size is 20" h x 19" w 24" d (top) as shown in the advertisement, the only difference is that it is 26" d at the drawstring (bottom) which should make it easier to put on a larger motor. It will probably be too big for a 25 horsepower motor too, but it was the smallest I found. (see pictures) - I have a new 20 horsepower outboard so this cover is VERY generously sized for me. My fuel lines, control and battery cables stopped me from fitting it better. - It does not have the "quick release buckle". - It has labels for Front and Back sewn in. - I will not be towing my boat with the cover on BUT the drawstring lock does not hold fast so I would tie a knot in it and tie the drawstring to something on the boat. I would probably put a bungee cord around it if I decide to tow the boat with this cover on. The cover seems durable enough to handle strong wind.

Updated.. Not overly thrilled .. but covers... maybe too wide a range of sizes covered.. too baggy and cinch rope doesn't tighten sufficiently. Maybe should be smaller for my 90 HP and have elastic as well as draw string to snug it up.. if it stays on in winds it will work,, just not what I was expecting. Bigger outboards probably fit better. update: First windy day... gone.. wouldn't cinch up enough on my outboard... Sad...
