I bought this kit to help cut out matts from my cat's fur with the big seam ripper. It works ok but what I really love is the little scissor like thing. It allowed me to get deep into the matts because I could really control these and could use my hand to feel her skin so that she didn't get any cuts at all. With regular scissors I was terrified of using them on her because I couldn't maintain a hold on her skin to be sure it was not going to cut her. I managed to get them down perfectly so that could come along with a very small pink razor that's only for small cats and dogs and is super super quiet and got rid of all her tangles and saved myself 180.00 for our 4th vet visit. I'm so sorry thankful for this little kitty. It's also perfect for all kinds of sewing, embroidery and cross stitching to remove mistakes. Very well worth the price. Would buy this again!!!

The scissors that come with the kit aren't the best in the world, but the rest of the kit is great. I bought these to make ripping stitches a safer process than what I was doing before (using razor blades). Definitely recommended, and they're a great price.
