Product is as described, it has some give to the top portion of the mattress but is medium firmness. If you are going to put it in a bedframe that is almost flush to the floor you will need a boxspring. It is a typical size mattress not a oversize mattress as far as the height goes. My kids love it it’s different from what they had which had a boxspring before and sat higher off the floor, but they like this new transition. ... show more

2-9-23 Updating this review - I emailed and received return refund on these hard as a rock mattresses. They were picked up and confirmed returned. I am still waiting for AMAZON to refund my money paid. It was returned on January 21, 2023 and refund has had more than enough time to be processsed. Don't buy this mattress. It is horrible like laying down on concrete. Even feather mattress added won't help this board. Requested refund and they picked up on January 21st, but still waiting for refund?? ... show more

We were looking for a replacement mattress that was kind of a hybrid, with foam and lots of inner springs. We were originally looking for a model similar to the one we bought for our daughter, but that model was discontinued for some reason. Lots of searching around and we found this one listed. We were definitely a bit hesitant to buy a mattress sight unseen and not able to lay down on it, but I guess we buy everything sight unseen these days, right? We wanted a medium to firm stiffness and fortunately this fit the bill nicely. After sleeping on it for several months now it's been very comfortable and a huge upgrade from our old mattress. No soft spots and no body soreness. I'm a side sleeper and my wife sleeps on her back and we've both found it to be good for us. Please note: this mattress is NOT shipped rolled up in a small box. It comes uncompressed in a HUGE mattress-sized rectangular box. It's big and heavy. Fortunately there were two delivery ppl in the truck to bring it up the driveway to our house. ... show more
