At first I didn’t think I was going to be happy with it when I sat on it thinking it would be too soft but it was really great after I slept on it it’s not too soft like I originally thought and definitely not too hard either. I would’ve given 5 stars except I am still very warm at night, which I thought I was that it was more of a mattress, but that could just be me being a hot sleeper. The mattress came bent in half and rolled into a box so I thought there was no way this thing would spring into shape. But it did! We've had a it a few months and so far so good. I like that it has springs and memory foam so you're getting the best of both worlds. I can't speak to pain relief as that's not really an issue for me.
