This Hanse Syntec HSS Sealant Tape means business. Once it’s down, it’s down for good — I’m pretty sure it would survive a hurricane, a heatwave, and maybe the end times. I used it on a leaky seam that’s laughed at every other sealant I’ve tried. Not this time! The tape sealed it tight and hasn’t budged since. Easy to apply, super tacky, and no messy cleanup. I ordered the 4 inch wide version, I got the 2 inch wide version. I asked for a replacement. They sent another 2 inch wide version. I gave up because I needed to use it right away. So I did. What I learned: do not use rubber gloves to place this stuff down, it will stick so hard to the glove you won't be able to separate it from the glove. Best to use you bare hand, it doesn't seem to stick to your hands. It does stick very well to the surface you want it to, and anything else you might accidentally touch with it. So be sure you are ready to place it exactly ware you want it. Does a great job of sealing cracks, holes, tears and rips. It's completely water proof after it's been correctly placed. Just would have been easier if I'd received the correct width that I'd ordered! ... show more

Used the product to seal up the underside of my RV Camper trailer where I had installed new insulation panels. I wanted to waterproof the insulation and seal the edges to prevent moisture infiltration. Make sure you "measure twice, cut once" because once you put it on, it definitely is "on". I used disposable nitrile gloves to keep it from sticking to my fingers, however it can pull those glove fingertips right off. Better that, than my skin. Don't pull the backing off, until you are absolutely ready to apply to surface. Most of the project, I pulled the backing off as I was applying the product to the surface. That worked the best. My assumption is it will be moisture proof in the application because of the rubberized nature of the tape. ... show more

This is the best roofing tape I think that exists. I'm having it hold solar panels on my roof because I don't want to drill into the roof. They have held up through rain, sun, horrible wind etc, would highly recommend for any roofing projects
