  • Make sure you know what you're doing
The product and value for what you get was amazing. Good Quality, and more than enough glue and supplies for my 31' 5th wheel. When laying the new roof down, make sure it's straight. It's hard to fix a crooked roof once the glue starts setting. I'm most disappointed with my self, and that I didn't really know what I was doing. It was too large of a project for me and I was very stressed out. I also rolled out the roof crooked on the glue. I was able to fix it, but due to my constant adjusting of the new material on the sticky gluey roof, I caused some bad wrinkles/ air bubbles. It wouldn't have been an issue at all, had I not rolled out the roof crooked, so it 100% my fault. Normally it's really easy to smooth out the roof and get rid of air bubbles. But my roof was clearly installed by an amateur/novice. But you know what? It's a new roof, and it's not going to leak! And who's going to climb the ladder and stare at the wrinkles/ air bubbles all day? Not me. ... show more

  • Has been holding strong for a year
Installed this system a year ago, came with everything described. Went on good and haven’t had any issues. Rv is stored outdoors and under trees that drop sticks and acorns and has held up so far. Much easier to clean than old rubber roof.

  • Easy camper roof
I purchased this roof membrane to replace the old epdm membrane on our camper. The material is thinner than the epdm but seems to be tough and flexible. As others have stated, this does come in a box folded so there are wrinkles in the material. I laid the material out in my drive way for a several hours on a hot day and then rolled it up tight on a 3" pvc pipe and let stay on the roll for a few days. When we rolled it on the roof the majority of the wrinkles were gone. I used a soft bristle push broom to work the air bubbles and wrinkles out as we glued the material down. If you have never installed a roof like this, I would suggest you have some help and it's really if helpful if one of those guys is a contractor that will bring scaffolding for everyone to walk on. If you don't have access to scaffolds, I would rent some. Being able to work from scaffolding down the entire length of the camper instead of constantly moving a ladder was great. Overall, this went down easy and seems to be a good product so far, I'm not sure of durabilty and longevity yet, time will tell. ... show more

  • Good Deal, Installed Easily, More than enough Goop
Size: 15 ft
I redid the roof membrane on my 18 foot Rv trailer. This membrane felt high quality and went on easily. There was also plenty of adhesive and lap sealant provided. We'll see how it holds up over the years but I don't have any reason to think it won't do well.

  • Great.
Had everything we needed. May want to lay out flat for a few days to get wrinkles out but other than that it works great.

  • 1st time replacing a membrane
The media could not be loaded. I’ll start by saying that the product is a great buy for 1st time users. My only qualms is that it is shipped folded and not in a roll. So if you purchase I highly suggest unfolding and roll it back up. Place it in the sun so it can heat up and relax. Most creases will come out. Even more will come out after you glue the membrane. ... show more

  • Complete garbage!
I keep trying to review this to let people know my experience and they keep deleting my review. Do not buy this trash! The first set they sent to me was ripped open and take back together every single tube was cracked open and all over the place. The adhesive was also open and all over everything. The roof was also ripped. I got a hold of them and they sent out a replacement. The replacement actually looked new not used like the first set. They send out their roof kits a folded. Something unheard of in the RV industry apparently. I had a professional from Camping World install the roof. And they was unable to properly do it for two reasons. Reason number one it was sent folded. We laid it out for about a week and the creases would still not come out! Reason number two it did not fit. It did NOT stretch out to the link that was advertised! And the professionals at Camping World could not believe how this company ships the stuff out! Said it was completely unprofessional. Roofs should be shipped on a roll! They tried really hard to make it work but was unable to and ended up having to rip it off and throw it in the garbage. I had to buy a new roof from a different company. So all that money (which was like $600 or $700 at the time) was a complete waste. And being a single mom who is currently homeless it was a loss I couldn't afford! They refuse to make it right. I am so burdened by this it has caused a great deal of turmoil financially wise as I only had so much money to get this in living condition. And because I had to buy a new roof kit somewhere else now I cannot afford to finish the interior. And we'll be homeless much longer. I have been fighting for months with no luck. Save yourself the hassle and just spend a little more money on a roof kit that sold ELSEWHERE! The materials are pure garbage. The silicone is garbage. The adhesive is garbage! DO NOT BUY! The decision to buy this kit has literally ruined mine & my kids life! ... show more

  • Broken box and waded up material
It didn't look likle the picture. I expected it to be in a roll with a tube in the middle. It came to my house and the box was tore wide open and the roofing material was waded up in a ball and I had to unfold it out and let it sit in the sun to get the wrinkles out. Then I had to roll it back up and lift it to the roof of my RV and roll it back out. I expected it to come in a roll with a tube in the middle to make it easier to apply. ... show more
