Decided to resurface my class C RV 28 foot roof after hearing what a shop would charge. It was a several weeks project. The preparation work was the hard part and working on the roof during the hottest days was difficult. But after completing the cleaning and taping putting the primary and 5 coats of rubber paint went well. It rained a little after putting on the last coat causing some bubbles but after 2 year's coating is still solid. I had a little over a gallon left so I just put on 3 more coats Very satisfying project overall, should be good to go for many more years I also bought a cover for the RV on Amazon and it has survived 2 windy winter's ,just developed my own tie-down system to keep it secure. If you are good with up and down ladder work and want to save a lot of money, just a little over $600 for materials and probably a week or more depending on roof condition and weather this product work.

Goes further than specs say. My trailer roof is 28.5 ft long and 9.4 inches wide. Applied 2 coats and still have about 2 of the 5 gallons left over. What we did put on ( over the approved primer) was generously applied. I would have purchased 3 gallons at substantial savings had I known.

What they say: ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY - Liquid Rubber RV Roof Coating is water based, containing no solvents, or VOC's. Safe for humans and pets alike, can be used indoors and outdoors with no special breathing apparatus. What I say: 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ Ha ha very funny 😂 Definitely, use something to block that odor I almost passed out. It took me an hour to do a 19 inch roof as per their two coat instructions. I was on oxygen for an hour after I applied this to the top of the camper. What they say: COVERAGE - Apply a minimum final thickness of 1 gallon/50 sq ft (4.65 sq m). Should require 2-3 heavy coats. 1 x 5G pail will coat RVs up to 30 feet; be sure to use up all material. What I say: No, it definitely will not cover 30 feet. That is hilarious. 😆 It covered 19 inches with nothing left over. If you have 30 inches on your RV you will need two for sure. Also the quart in primer was fine for 19 inches, but definitely not the coating. It's very sticky. The two of them. Also definitely wear a mask or respirator with the primer. Geez that was bad. I head a headache for three hours and I was wearing a mask. It was really bad. Also wear shoes you intend to throw away after and two sets of gloves, thick ones. Best of luck. Overall I would still recommend this product.

Had a small leak on a flat aluminum travel trailer roof which required removing the ceiling and insulation inside to find it. Could not find it from the roof but after removing the ceiling and insulation, where it leaked, could see five small pin holes from the sun shining in from them. After reading reviews for these type of products to be used as a water sealant, decided on this brand for price, ease of application and discovered it spreads so smoothly was able to do three applications for an area that the container said would do only one application. There is a huge benefit to multiple thin applications versus one and some draw backs but multiple has the advantage of being more durable. Which I inadvertently had to test since the drainage pattern from the condensation from the air conditioner had changed, needed to lower a dam so used a hammer to lower it. Fully expected the material to pull away from the surface after the pounding but it remained adhered to the roof surface, which could have something to do with the primer too but nice to know it can take a beating and not flack. But the real surprise, and still find unbelievable, is the aluminum temperature on the underside (have not put insulation or ceiling material back) measures, using my Etekcity Infrared Thermometer, as the same temperature as the thermometer in the shade, when the roof is in full sun This aluminum roof without the product and only an inside reading at the ceiling, BEFORE, with insulation in between it measured 10 degrees hotter. Also took a couple measurements before while the ceiling was open with just bare underside of the aluminum in full sun on a cool spring day showed the underside of the aluminum was 100 degrees, while outside temperatures were 65 degrees. The bare aluminum is gathering heat and conducting it Here is the part which is unbelievable, and could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on winter or summer, measured the temperature of the roof in the evening after the sun has gone down, air temperature was 64 degrees, the roof temperature with this product, no sun light on it, showed all surface area measured 6 to 8 degrees COOLER than the surrounding air. It does not absorb the heat and radiates it back. I do not know all the science involved only know what I measured, and expecting a substantial savings in air conditioning cost This is the only product of this type have any knowledge but if they all work like this one everyone needs to put it on their roof, just know this one seems to be a miracle product, so highly recommend it.

Works great. I got four good quality layers on a 30 foot RV. All the chemicals were good. I even got cold feet before doing it and started a return. They sent me shipping labels to send everything back… I ended up keeping it and I’m glad I did. Product works great and it looks incredible. The primer is a must and so is the cleaning agent.
