Honestly, I didn’t know what to think. There are several negative reviews, several positive, which left me in a bit of a lurch. Do I risk it and potentially regret it, or will I be a lucky one? I went ahead and pulled the trigger and couldn’t be happier. I followed the directions to a “T”, bought the clear and then purchased the black tint separately. This stuff goes on like a dream. It’s is a bit watery, which the green painting tape didn’t completely guard against, but being water based made for pretty easy cleanup. I’ll try the upgraded paint block tape next time. We’ve had a hard rain today and this stuff had performed flawlessly. Water beads up and runs right off, the wood fibers seem very well protected/sealed, nothing to complain about as far as adhesion goes. Time will tell if it lives up to its stated duration. Honestly though, it goes on so easy and looks so good, I’m not opposed to having to reapply earlier if needed.

Hoping this stuff lasts years. I used this on a new deck. I would only recommend using this on never stained or painted before surface. To restain a deck with this stuff, the preparation would be a daunting task. It will not cover over old stain or paint so you would have to clean off every inch of the old stain or paint. But on new wood I'm excited to see how it holds up. So far I love it. Beads up nicely, and seems to protect the wood from the inside out. I bought the bronze cedar

Used this on a large floating wooden raft we have on our pond. A bit expensive, but worth it for the quality. Applies easily and seals well. No peeling. Love the gray color. Applied last spring and has been exposed to the summer sun and freezing winter and still looks great.

I was surprised to see that the consistency and the color of what’s supposed to be deck staining is like milk. Literally once you put it on your deck, it does get that milky color. Once you open the gallon of this thing you cannot really send it back. It’s way too expensive. Compared to other products and poor quality.

I have a large dock and wanted something to protect it. Purchased this and it was very easy to apply with a garden sprayer. The water beads up nicely. I hope it lasts as long as they say it does.
