I have used this for years on my boat and have not found anything with a finish this beautiful. I started with Snappy Teak 1 which is sodium hydroxide (potassium hydroxide works just as well) to clean off the old finish. Wear gloves and eye protection (it will literally eat a hole in your fingers and you'll wonder where the blood came from because you won't feel it and it will blind you if you get it in your eyes). Wet the real and lightly scrub with brush. Rinse well with water and apply snappy teak 2 which will brighten to a nice blonde color. Once dry, paint with deks olje 1. Let dry and apply several coats of deks olje 2. Allow each coat to dry. Absolutely stunning. To keep it looking great you will probably need to apply deks olje 2 periodically thruout the year depending on how harsh the environment is. ... show more
