Description

Some treasures aren't found in the sand, but in the heart.Tara Lawson returns to Seagrove, South Carolina with her life in shambles. Her career as a TV journalist is over after one catastrophic mistake, her engagement is broken, and now her beloved grandmother has passed away. All she wants is to settle the estate and escape back to her life in Atlanta. But the sleepy coastal town holds more than just memories—it holds Noah, her childhood best friend who still makes her heart flutter like it did when they were kids collecting sea glass on the shore. As Tara discovers her grandmother's journal and a mysterious beachfront property left in her name, she faces an impossible choice: return to the career she's worked so hard for, or stay in Seagrove with the man she's always loved but never told.Meanwhile, across town, bookstore owner Julie finally publishes her first novel after years of rejection, while new mom Colleen struggles to balance motherhood with her identity. In this small coastal community where sea glass transforms from broken shards into something beautiful, three women will discover that sometimes life's biggest heartbreaks lead to its most precious gifts.A heartwarming, feel-good story about second chances, finding your true home, and the healing power of community that will leave you feeling like you've just had a warm conversation with an old friend. • Sweet Romance and Charming Setting
Format: Kindle
There are three interconnecting stories within the pages of this novel, and the author does a spectacular job of weaving the stories together to make one cohesive reflection on life and the choices we make. My favorite story, of course, was the main one about Tara, her job, her grandmother and her boyhood friend, Noah. This story delves deeply into feelings of loss, self-discovery and forgiveness. The characters are realistic and lovable and I look forward to another visit to the little town of Seagrove. I checked out a copy of this book from my local library using the Libby App. I was not required to write a positive review, and all opinions expressed are my own. ... show more

  • Heartwarming!
Format: Kindle
This story is a beautiful story about love, connection and courage. The characters are familiar from previous books in the series with some newcomers thrown in. I loved the writing and storyline and the characters are wonderful.

Format: Kindle
Just finished book 11 and ready to move on to book 12, as I continue with the series, it has helped me pass the time and find purpose as I retired this year and has found my love of reading again.

  • Another Beautiful Story of Life in Seagrove!
Format: Kindle
I gave this book 5 stars, because it keeps getting better with new characters and their stories. The author knows how and when to begin and end the story. If you don’t read prologues or epilogues, then you don’t have to, but I recommend it for those readers who can’t get enough of her stories. Read this book! ... show more

  • Sweet & Charming Series
Format: Kindle
I've read the entire series and they are charming books and an easy read. For me, the stories are predictable, each book had identical scenes, a few situations or person described from one book to the next changed, which was irritating. I found the description of each female's view of preparing for their wedding annoying as they all had the exact same situations. I did enjoy the entire series, though not sure there was an actual ending so perhaps there will be more. I felt they were boiler plate written. ... show more

  • Easy reading, interesting Characters
Format: Kindle
Read all the 11 book series. This was the last one and I enjoyed all the books. I liked the stories and this was easy reading for lazy summer days. Interesting characters. Only two issues: not well edited, Julie became Julia in one sentence of a book in the series. And (spoiler alert) Colleen was engaged twice (plot issue), once while traveling with her sister and respective partners, and then in another book in the series they were engaged again and married spontaneously. Other than that nice and easy reading. ... show more

  • Wonderful, no stress read
Format: Paperback
I’ve read every book in the Carolina series and am going to get another series soon…not sure which one yet. I am a first time reader of this author and I am hooked! If you want to give your mind a rest from life’s stresses, please read this series. The characters are endearing and you will root for them throughout the books. When reading, you will find yourself cheering them on and turning each page swiftly to see what happens next. The books are an easy read and I highly recommend them. ... show more
