We are very happy with the Nuvo Iron Louver Blinds & Shutter System. We needed to be able to block out the sun and yet let the breeze blow through on those hot summer days. Privacy for the patio is an added bonus. This system turned out to be just what we needed and has made the patio so cozy. You should note that the system includes ONLY the hardware needed to hold the slats (the slats were NOT included). The hardware was fairly easy to install and probably took the estimated time (we had 3 bags of hardware and 45 minutes PER BAG is about right). Creating, sanding and staining the slats was very labor intensive but they went up very quickly after that. ... show more

These brackets were perfect for adding the louvers on our porch. Helps keep the porch cooler in the hot summer months. Easy to put together, just takes a little time. Look great!

Easy to install once you get the hang of it. I receive plenty of comments and even my landscaper was impressed. He had never seen the product before. I like they can be closed for privacy/windbreak or opened to let the breeze through. I first learned about them when we were visiting family in Canada. Returned them because it wasn't clear from description these are plastic. They're call Nuvo "Iron" which would imply metal.

Easy to install/ use .. they look beautiful. I bought a total of 6bags for a 10x16 patio, w my luck last bag was short so do count your parts!! They replace missing parts quickly.
