Features

  • Automatically Controlled Air Assist SystemSCULPFUN S30 Pro is equipped with an air-assist 32-bit motherboard and automatic air-assist pump, which intelligently controls the laser engraver to turn off the air-assist during engraving and turns on during cutting to avoid the engraved pattern from being destroyed. The traditional laser air assist will keep on during the engraving process and cannot be controlled automatically, and the engraved pattern will be smoked into a blurred mist.
  • 10W Dual Laser Beam OutputSCULPFUN S30 Pro laser engraver module, 10W laser output power, the new two 6W laser beams in one technology and 0.08mm x 0.06mm ultra-fine compressed spot for better cutting penetration, it can cleanly cut 10mm thick wood and 5mm thick dark acrylic in one pass, cut high-density materials such as 10mm walnut and 6mm MDF, easily engrave ceramics and stainless steel, etc.
  • Hydrodynamically Designed NozzleThe S30 Pro is equipped with upgraded high-pressure air-assisted metal nozzles with advanced fluid mechanics design, which makes the airflow more high-speed and stable. The high-pressure airflow generated by the air pump greatly improves the cutting efficiency and the cutting speed is more than 5 times faster than without air assistance. The powerful airflow blows away the residue, making the cut surface very clean.
  • Extended Laser Life DesignS30 Pro laser adopts a replaceable lens design, which greatly improves the life of the laser, which is more than 10 times longer than other general lasers. When the lens is damaged or after long-term use, the lens can be replaced to restore the cutting power. The package contains a complimentary lens, which is convenient for you to replace and use.
  • Extended Engraving Area for Both XY AxesThe S30 Pro adopts an innovative XY-axis expandable design, the original engraving area is about 400x400mm, and when installing the Y-axis extension kit, the engraving area can be extended to 935x400mm; when installing the XY-axis extension kit, it can be upgraded to a large engraving area of 935x905mm, which can help you better handle large engraving or cutting work. (Note: XY axis extension kit needs to be purchased additionally)
  • Industrial-grade Cutting AccuracyThe S30 Pro laser engraving machine uses an extremely rugged, high-precision linear slide X-axis, enabling it to achieve industrial-grade engraving accuracy. With an engraving accuracy of only 0.005mm, the S30 series does not have the wavy pattern that occurs with ordinary engravers when comparing small engraving details.

  • Great gadget to personalize gifts
Color: A-S9
I’ve tried one of these lasers before, but that wasn’t a good experience and it was way too expensive, but with the holidays coming up I thought I’d give it another try and decided to try this one. This laser does take a little while to put together so don’t rush it. Once it’s assembled it seems pretty sturdy and well made. I’m still getting the hang of it, but it’s a lot of fun and I’m enjoying playing with it. The idea is to put some personalization on some holiday gifts for our friends and family and I think it’ll do a fantastic job for our purposes. So far, we did a few test engravings and they came out really good. I’ll try to gets some photos or a video of it doing it’s thing and will add later. This is a very reasonably priced piece of equipment for the quality you’re getting so we are very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

  • Still doesn't work
Color: A-S9
Wish I had never purchased this laser. I haven't been able to get it to work since I purchased it. Would love to get a refund and ship it back to the seller but can't. What a waste of money.

  • Not great
Color: A-S9
Many of cuts are off by 3 mm and do not match Print in LightBurn. SO Nope. get something better.

  • Works good but a little complicated to a novice
Color: A-S9
Takes some time to assemble but does have very detailed instructions. It can be customized pretty well with the software. I chose the one for beginners and it still had a lot to it as far as detail goes. I will point out that after only one use there was a lot of rubber coming off the wheels for the top rail. And that rail came with the tension set and belt installed. The other belts I installed. You have to make sure that you set the guide lines or parameters yourself or it will hit the ends due to lack of safety switches causing the motors to click till it gets stopped. Still a pretty decent value here but you have to kinda know what you are doing and test everything safely first. The detail in this one is really good and can be adjusted as well for instance the amount of lines engraved per millimeter which I think is rather cool. I chose the halfway point which was 10 lines per mm. You can see in one of my photos how detailed 10 lines is. You can adjust the power levels and in some cases when cutting through something you might require multiple passes to accomplish that. I wish the cable connections weren't on the front and honestly the cable management isn't the best in my opinion but it all functions just fine. All in all a pretty decent value on this engraver. ... show more

  • How to review?
Color: A-S9
This is my first engraver so I can say I got it to work so thats a big deal for me. I am still tweaking the process to get things to look right but so far so good. Will update once I have more samples to judge by.

  • Big area. Clean cutting. Very sensitive.
Color: A-S9
I need to clarify the sensitivity part first: I was having a lot of problems getting the controller to connect/stay connected via LightBurn/LaserGRBL. It was to the point where I was getting ready to make an exchange request because something was not right. Then I realized that every once in a while, when I would touch the chassis, I would get a bit of static. This is very common in my basement, and most of my electronics react just fine (through grounding or just general robustness). But I started doing some testing and I was able to get the laser connected to LightBurn, then watch the console freak out the moment I touched the chassis, whether I felt something or not. The power supply is grounded (at least by appearances), but for some reason, it's just not able to handle even the slightest disturbance. I have worked around this by intentionally grounding myself every time I plan to come anywhere near it, and my reset frequency has gone down dramatically. Now, on to the good stuff. Assembly and setup: Quick and easy, just like the other units of similar construction that I have worked with. The y-axis comes mostly preassembled, so it's simply a matter of mounting it and running the belts. Wheels and belts move smoothly and in unison with no adjustment out of the box. There are tools included to adjust the eccentric nuts if necessary, but I haven't felt the need for them yet. The included focus block is elegantly simple. A small aluminum cylinder that the head just drops onto and gives you the optimal distance quickly and easily. The adjustment screws hold well and adjust easily. Compatibility: LightBurn and LaserGRBL both pick it up right away and have no issues communicating out of the box (exception above, of course). Engraving: If you don't have the material libraries from Louisiana Hobby Guy for any of these types of lasers, get them. A wonderful set of default settings that help save a TON of time. Using and tuning these settings, I am able to get crisp clean engraving with this laser on a variety of materials. Cutting: I'm coming to this laser from a 10W head. And even with the lack of air assist (I'm considering it), I'm quite impressed with its out of the box cutting capability. A honeycomb bed is an absolute must, as it allows the smoke from cuts to go through rather than trying to escape above and making cutting more difficult. 2.5mm plywood cuts cleanly on a single slow pass, or two slightly faster passes. I typically like to use multiple faster passes, as it reduces charring, but you will need to find the optimal settings for your own uses. Consistency: Like 3D printing, motion systems like this can be prone to inconsistency from job to job. Fortunately, I've found the results from this cutter to be very repeatable, and most inconsistency can be attributed to materials. Circles are circular, and the compression of the laser spot (while also aiding in cutting efficiency) considerably reduces kerf over some other laser heads I've used. Caveats: The lens seems to keep itself clean pretty well, but in comparison to some other setups, I find the ventilation under the eye shield a bit lacking. The red is pretty caked up with soot and deposits after a few uses. I haven't had to clean the actual lens yet, but it looks like a lot of smoke/vapor gets trapped. This is one reason why i'm seriously considering air assist (among the other benefits). Overall: A great unit, even considering it's "only" 5.5W output. The improvements they have made on the focus help mitigate a lot of the lack in raw power. Easy compatibility with accessories (there are air assist and rotary kits specifically for the S9 available) is also a great bonus. Wishes: I would like a >10W head. The increase in cutting power and resulting speed really is a huge improvement. A drop-in 1064nm head would be a huge thing, and not a lot of market penetration with that yet. ... show more
