I got a size up which, I probably shouldn't have I expected these to be very tight, since I have fat wide feet. I think a smaller size would've compressed better around my foot and ankle. I use these at the gym and it helped alleviate some pain but not all, provided added support and stability. I was surprised when I saw how thick soft and warm these "compression braces" were, it's like a really thick warm sock. Which is not typical for compression products which are usually more thin more like Lycra and have better compression properties imo. This still works as intended, just different from what I'm use to.

I can't really wear these for any length of time because the sock, as it sits around the arch area, is very tight, and after about 30 minutes my toes start to turn blue. Not a good sign. They're well made and I expect that if you're relatively thin, these would be excellent. They just don't work for me.

I got these ankle sleeves for my husband. He broke his ankle a few years ago and always complains of ankle pain because he's on his feet all day at work. He said they fit well, are comfortable to wear, and provide a good amount of compression. His feet aren't as fatigued at the end of the day and they have provided some ankle pain relief. They are lightweight and seem to be well made. The material is soft and breathable. He is happy with them and the pain relief they provide.

These Scrodcat Copper Ankle Braces for Men & Women are wonderful. They were difficult for me to put on as I am elderly, overweight, and not as nimble as I used to be. I have trouble with regular socks, so you can imagine how hard these braces were to put on. Once I got them started, it wasn't too difficult to get them on. The support is great and my ankles and feet feel much better when I wear them for a few hours. I do caution you to measure your feet. I would never have ordered a small if I hadn't measured mine!! I don't wear a small in anything, so I was surprised when I measured my foot without looking at the chart and then looked at it. I fell right in the center of the small measurements, so I ordered the small and it is perfect. So, MEASURE!! I highly recommend these ankle braces.

I can't tell if the copper makes a difference, but these are well made and give good light support. They are fairly easy to put on, and give nice light support to my foot and ankle. I still got some swelling in my calf above the brace, but my foot and ankle do not swell at all while this is on. It did fit according to the size chart and my measurements. They recommend that if you are between sizes, to go up for a looser fit, down for more compression, but I can tell you from experience with other braces, that the extra compression makes it harder to put on, and too loose can provide no help at all, so it's a gamble. These were more true to the measurements they say they are than others have been. I would recommend these braces.
