Fit perfectly on my 2006 Tacoma. I was a bit skeptical because I had to take out 5 screws on my old hazard light/clock but this dash didn’t have holes for those screws. Luckily, that old base was removable and it fit perfectly into the new dash after removing it. The clips aligned and it snapped into place. I like how it now color matches. Took about 15 minutes, including removing the hazard light/clock piece. My radio is a bit uneven but even then; the dash fit into place without issue. ... show more

There's not much to add -- The frame fits the curve of the dash with no gaps and the bezel fits the double din head unit. It's a little tough removing the parts from the OEM frame, but it's very easy to install them into this one. It's not textured like the original, but you wouldn't notice unless you knew to look for it. The plastic brackets that come with it are junk, but you should have the OEM metal ones available anyway, so no stars off. ... show more

I would give it a 5 start rating by the plastics head unit brackets left little to be desired as the radio moved. I had to revert back to using the factory metal brackets which set my SJoybring Head unit a little farther back into the Dash kit than I would like but I'm designing a TPU bezel to go around the Head unit to fill the gap as the one that comes with it doesn't fit good. Being fair to this company the SJoybring Head unit I have is a double din but short about have the size of the orginal head unit, so there may be some issue with that. But with that said SCOSCHE TA2053B should have come up with a more robust bracket system. ... show more

Perfect! I had tried another brand that starts with an 'M' for my 2007 Tacoma and it never felt solid in the dash and would start coming loose. The Scosche I think is a much better installation and when I pressed the mounting panel in, it was a very solid "click' as all the clips engaged. No bouncing or rattles and it looks outstanding. The other brand never fully engaged the clips. Worth the price difference from the 'M' brand one. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It says it comes with all necessary hardware but it doesn’t come with anything. The clips in my truck are old so they don’t hold and need to be replaced. The little black rectangle insert doesn’t even fit right, you can see the bottom gap in the video I included. I used this with a new double DIN head unit to bring my '09 Tacoma into the 2020s. I was not sure about the matte black finish, and was prepared to paint it, but after a trial installation, I think that the matte black is an improvement over the stock aluminum finish for the radio bezel. It fits fine, but I did not use the plastic radio mounting brackets in my install. Instead, I re-used the metal brackets that came with the stock radio.
