I needed a bezel/faceplate to surround a single DIN Alpine, and this worked perfectly for that within my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan (SXT Trim). There are absolutely no gaps around the radio or the dash components, and so the fit is seamless. Works great could be built a little more sturdy if I had gone with a normal car stereo I’d be worried about the leverage that gravity might have on the plastic mounts. Fortunately I went with a marine grade radio which is shorter and ends pretty much exactly where the plastic mounts do

Everything I needed to install aftermarket radio into my van. Note there were 2 options for this; I ordered the lower priced version, which came with the adapter plug. There was a second, higher priced version that appeared to include 2 adapters. I have no idea why you would need two adapters.

Used this to install a single DIN unit in my brother-in-law's PT. I gotta say, this went really smooth and way easier than expected. The colors and labels on the harness matched up perfectly to the wiring from his unit. The only thing is that the faceplate from the kit was a little bigger than the opening of his dash shroud preventing it from going back on perfectly. Nothing a dremel can't fix. Excellent overall value for what I received and would highly recommend to anyone looking to save some money and DIY. ... show more

I initially bought Metra kit from Advanced Auto Parts for 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo which was 2x more and only had the face not the side tray to hold the radio. I did not have the metal tray that comes with radio when buying new. I removed the radio from another vehicle that had a complete Metra dash kit. I purchased this before returning the Metra and work much better. Everything aligned well. Only minus are the screws. Had trouble screwing them on. Luckily I used the screws from old dash kit and worked well. The fit was great, no hassle and did not have to adjust at all to allow main panel to seat properly. With the Metra, one corner was causing the main panel to not seat properly. Glad I didn't shave off as I ended up returning it to Advanced Auto Parts. Instructions are not helpful as you will have to figure it out, but not problematic. There are some top/left/right engraved words on this kit so it will help to know orientation at least. Metra kit has a plastic petruding "rod" to align on vehicle's for more support. Unfortunately it doesn't have it on this kit, which with the screws did not matter. I'll definitely get this brand for another vehicle. Sure saved me half the price from Metra. No 5 star due to instructions and screws. Still really satisfied with item overall, looks great and no movement at all. ... show more
