This kind of scooter is interesting. I wanted to see how my six year old would take to it because of the funky front wheels design. Instead of turning the handle, you lean into it and that turns the front wheels. Once I put it together, I wasn’t so sure about it but it turned out to be a hit. Especially, when the wheels lit up once she got going. The lights work fine and I like not having to turn something on or have a battery to charge or change. The scooter is stable and doesn’t wobble once all the bolts were tightened, easy for her to use, and a fun addition to the kid garage. That said, I don’t expect this to last long. The steel used in the body is powder-coated square tube steel that’s drilled with a few holes for the bolts and the foot board. It’ll rust up really fast if exposed to wet conditions. Especially since a plastic cover for the cut end of the tube refuses to stay in place and was quickly lost. So just be aware that this is probably going to last a season before it looks rough. You also want to retighten and check the many bolts. I’m giving it five stars because for what it is, it’s great…notwithstanding the stickers 😂 But don’t expect the quality or longevity of a stainless steel round tube unibody scooter. 🛴 this is cheaper and you get what you pay for here.

This DEROFIT scooter has impressed me from the moment I took it out of the box. Setup was quick and the folding design is simple enough that even a young child can carry or store it without help. The build quality is great. The metal frame feels heavy-duty and far more solid than many kids’ scooters we’ve tried. The wide, anti-slip deck gives plenty of room and makes balancing easier, especially for beginners. The soft handle grips are comfortable and don’t cause hand fatigue during longer rides. The lean-to-steer system is smooth and intuitive, and it really helps kids learn balance while still feeling safe. I also appreciate the limited steering angle, which prevents sharp over-turning that could cause falls. The rear brake responds quickly and reliably. One of the biggest highlights is the three light-up wheels, they glow brightly as soon as the scooter starts moving, no batteries required. It makes evening rides extra fun and adds visibility for safety. The 3-level adjustable handlebar is a huge plus, allowing the scooter to fit a wide range of ages and heights. With a weight limit of 150 lbs, this is something kids can truly use for years. I think this scooter is sturdy, easy to use, and loads of fun. It feels like a premium product at a great value, and it would make a great birthday or Christmas gift.
