Haven’t ridden one in over 10 years but the deep step in, Amazingly comfortable and wide seat with no unnecessary bells and whistles makes this a dream to ride ! Assembly was a bit complicated so hired someone through Amazon to assemble it . Be aware however that this is not suitable for hills as I have recently found out . My husband and I like to take leisurely rides on Rails to Trails, and I didn't need anything too intensive. We live in a hilly area, so this isn't the best option for me to cruise around town unless I want to be walking it up a lot of hills, but I knew that when I picked it out. Some other reviews have complained that it was difficult to put together, so I took it to a local bike repair shop, who assembled it for me for $40, a cost I consider well worth the preservation of my sanity and marriage. ... show more

Bought this for my daughter - she loves it! Color is cute, it's very comfortable, and it rides / shifts smoothly. A few notes: - The box specifically says not to transport on the side, but on my package the side of the box was worn through on the derailleur side, including scuffs on the derailleur itself but no mechanical damage (thank goodness). If you get one of these, that's the first thing I would check. - the paint layer is very thin and scratches easily, even from assembly itself. Leaning the bike even casually against anything (like a bike rack) will likely scratch it. For a beach cruiser, this introduces the risk of rusting. - there are no specified torque settings for the handlebar stem and other nuts - that would be helpful to make sure you're not over-tightening - it comes with no tools, so you will need some wrenches and larger hex wrenches (1/2 inch I think?) But for the price, and especially given the VERY high demand for bikes during COVID-19, we are very happy overall, minus 1 star for the damage to the box and the assembly quirks / paint. ... show more

This is a great family bike, the baby seat I got is a hamax and it fit easly and the basket and mirrors were inexpensive on Amazon. Also the bike isn't so girly that my husband doesn't mind riding the baby around once and a while too. It's a nice smooth ride, was very easy to assemble and a great way to spend time with the kids.. I spent 2h assembling it only to discover the chain arrived looped around the frame in a way that’s impossible to take it off and put on correctly. Not sure how that’s even possible, but it happened, pic attached. Now I had to spend another 30 min taking it apart to stuff it back into the box to return it. Huge waste of time. I have to admit that after reading a few reviews concerning the amount of damage some these bikes sustained during shipping, I thought about not making the purchase. I thought surely these negative reviews must be a small sampling, so I took a chance (mainly because of the GREAT price) and I’m glad I did! I received the bike in 4 days and in perfect condition. The great care that as given in packaging this bike was exceptional! Not a dent and not a scratch! It actually took a little time getting this bike unpacked, that’s how secure the packaging was. I had this beautiful Schwinn put together in less than 20 minutes. This is a birthday present for my wife, and I have no doubt that she’s going to love it! ... show more
