Christmas gift for my 7 year old daughter. It’s a nice bike. There is one thing though. It did not have grease on the neck bearings, crank bearings, and inner coaster brake bearings. Very little grease in the front wheel bearings as well as little grease in The rear outer wheel bearings. For the bike to operate as it should I had to dismantle the whole bike and pack all the bearings with a good quality bearing grease. After making a minor modification to lower the seat the bike works great. Just prepare to grease all the bearings and adjust the bike properly. It will not last the way it comes out of the box. My daughter should get years out of it now that it has been greased and properly adjusted.

I bought this bike for my daughter because it was a throwback to the bike that I had growing up as a child. I had a Schwinn Stingray back in the 70s and was happy to see that the model style was still available. I chose this model because my daughter is a bit taller than the average child and she did not do that well with the BMX-style bike she had before this one. The bike arrived in a box that was slightly damaged but I figured that’s what happens in transit. All the parts were there and as you can tell from the picture the rear fender was damaged a little bit-but that seems to be what’s happening with all of these bikes if you look at the other reviews and pictures. Beyond that, I did have to go through a store-bought pair of training wheels that were not long enough, but I did find a pair on Amazon that work perfectly. My daughter loves the color of the bike & I was able to find a helmet that matched perfectly. Her learning has increased and she enjoys riding the bike - even with the falls she inevitably takes - and has already asked to remove the training wheels! Schwinn makes a GREAT, sturdy product and I am glad to pass on my bike riding tradition to My Kids.

Given the handlebars and the seat's lack of adjustability, this was a hard sell for my kid. I eventually had to drill out a few more holes in the back metal loop so the seat could be lowered even further. Even at that my daughter looks like she is riding one of those motorcycles with the crazy large handlebars.

Got it for a 7 year old. Haha. Not even close to the right size. Bike is huge on small setting. I'm 6'4" and I can ride it. In listing it states the bike is suitable for riders 4-5 feet tall or 6 and up. This is a completely misleading statement. The company should have to redescribe the item immediately or pull the listing. Gave it to my other daughter who is 11 and 5 ft tall. Works great for her. Quality is just okay. Solder job is awful but hidden. Handlebar tassel came broke but I was able to rig it. Feels thin and cheap. Some items are not a good internet purchase. Shouldn't be listed as a size 20 inch bike. I feel cheated.

The box arrived at 10:15am on June 25, 2020. The box HAS NOT BEEN OPENED yet. I put it on a cart and took it to my garage where it sits on one end. Important for YOU TO KNOW: The box has a FIST-SIZED HOLE punched into it on the narrow longer BOTTOM crease. If I had to guess, it MAY HAVE BEEN PUT THERE to make a "handhold" for easier handling. When I put my hand inside, I CANNOT FEEL ANY of the box CONTENTS. My SON will be assembling the bike in a few days. That is when it will be opened and we will be able to assess IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE to it from that FIST-SIZED hole. I will keep you informed as to what we discover upon opening the box. Donna E. Bike looks super cool. My 7 year old had a hard time getting on it. It is bigger than i thought it would be. Hard to adjust the seat height. Need to take off sissy bar and adjust that and the seat post. Good for a taller kid or a older kid. Bike is super fun though.

It is what I expected right down to the missing acorn nut to secure front wheel. We were able to save little one disappointment by taking nut off old bike to complete assembly of new one. Schwinn is a good product but checking to ensure everything is included would be great especially where kids toys are involved.

We bought this bike for our daughter's birthday, and couldn't have been more disappointed. Firstly, upon arrival the box showed up looking like it went through a war zone. Instructions of how to handle during shipping were clearly ignored. Secondly upon assembly it became apparent the bike had damage. Bent wheel frame, scratched paint and random dents all over. The back tire when spun independently would wobble. The final straw was the missing clasp that is meant to keep the seat positioned, which didn't matter because the seat was stuck all the way down in the frame. This product was clearly returned previously by another unhappy customer and POORLY repackaged and sent to us. The packaging looking like someone blindly tossed loose plastic into the box with no care of what its meant to protect. Not to mention the struggle of disassembling this and lugging it to our nearest UPS, This was very disappointing.
