The lock is great, and it does the job perfectly. On the other hand, then plastic clamps to mount under the seat are the worst. If you don't secure the cable to the bike it may fell off the clamp. I bought two and on the first ride I lost one.

I like this kind of lock because it is easy to hang it on the bike---you can hang it on a lot of places. It is not heavy and you do not need to worry it would make noise when you bike. Its flexibility also makes it easy for it to be tied onto a pole or something when you are out with your bike.

unless you come with a grinder or one heck of a bolt cutter you're not going to get through this cable very easily. the cable has enough memory where it actually makes it hard to straighten it. very heavy duty for what it is.

I like this lock a lot. It was a great thing to find one with a key (dust cover over the keyhole is a bonus) that was not an arm and a leg to purchase. I've seen a combination lock be unlocked simply by being patient by a thief. All they had to do to keep from being stopped or remembered for a police report was be confident when they told people the lock was a little funky about coming open with the combination. That experience made the key such an important thing. Along with that, the cable isn't flimsy at all. My only complaint is that when I snap it in the holder on my bike to ride it, it's a bit shaky in the snap-in spot and makes some rattling noises. It doesn't fall out though. Easy to use. On time delivery. The picture of what I ordered was black and there were no color options. So I assumed the lock I was buying was black. But it came in and it’s silver. Not that big of a deal to me but you should get what you are told you are purchasing.
