I bought this TV primarily to be used as a computer monitor. In that regard, it has performed (so far) very well. As a TV, the picture is clear and crisp and has (so far) met my expectations. As noted, the sound is not very good. If you plan to use this as a TV in a room larger than 10 X 10, you might want to get a small sound bar to go along with it. The sound is not good at all without the addition of a sound bar. Other than that, it’s a fine “non-smart” TV with no problems.

    • GREAT value for the money
For the amount of TV you get for the money, you cannot go wrong with this unit. I received my package with all the parts included, the screen, stand legs, screws, a (nice screwdriver included) remote, batteries, and literature. Setup was a snap and everything worked. The TV is very light, and I was able to hold the box with one hand with a pinch grip. The TV must have been recently packaged as the time and date were set up exactly in the info display. Picture: At 720p you are going to get a great looking picture, and since it's only a 32in. screen any higher resolution won't be noticed. Has built in MEMC which is similiar to 120hz refresh rate, but only when needed so you don't get the soap opera effect. Sound: Not that bad considering the size of the unit. I watch late night TV old shows so I'm only concerned with hearing voices clearly and some background. Loud and clearfor that purpose but If you plan on watching a movie I'd suggest adding a soundbar or surround sound. There's actually an ad for an add on bluetooth soundbar that's compatible for this unit that comes with the instructions, runs about 48 bucks. Remote: Good functioning remote with lots of buttons and all the usual features. The remote is actually coded to SONY remote codes so you can control other SONY devices. I was able to control most of the functions of my SONY DVD player with this remote out of the box. Also has extra function buttons to control the add on soundbar if you so choose. Overall a great purchase and I will definitely consider Sceptre the next time I need a TV, monitor, or screen. ... show more

    • Arrived fully functional in Good Packaging
Great TV (so far) for the money. I had it up and running in 15 minutes or less. Just had to attach the bottom plastic legs with enclosed screws and plug into a wall outlet; and plug in the "input" cable wire from the Cable Tv Box and it was "On." On screen setup will then occur , step by step to program the Remote control unit and to set the TV according to desired settings in your Cable Remote. Sound quality is decently good; in a large rec room of 15 x 15 feet. ... show more

Got this for my son for Christmas, been a solid TV for the price. Sound is good, as everyone knows the speakers are in the back of flat panel TV's. I would take another chance on one of these TV's again.

    • We needed a new tv for our rv .
Picture is fantastic, sound is lacking . I bought a receiver( 5.1)to hook it up to. everything will be fantastic as soon as I get a bit of help figuring out what to hook to where . Expecting years of great times with the new system . Like I said those little speakers need help.

I received this TV, attached the enclosed feet and had a great picture all within 15 minutes. It only weighs 12 lbs. As long as it keeps working I will be happy. How can they make a great product and sell it so cheap. It comes with a 1 year warranty parts and labor and for $10.99 I bought a 3 year protection plan. ... show more
