I like the thick 14AWG wire, which is better to reduce voltage loss. This is a well made socket splitter. The spare fuses are conveniently stored in a little pouch attached to the cable in case you need them later. The only minor negative about this splitter is that the nose is a bit long in relation to the side contacts, so it can wiggle loose easily if you have a shorter car socket. Some other brand plugs have the side contact springs in a more forward position to make a better connection when there is car vibration. This also depends if your socket is vertical (and gravity holds this in place) or horizontal (more likely to slip out with vibration) and the length of your socket. Mine is a short socket so I have this issue. Overall highly recommended because of the thick wires and solid construction. ... show more
