I recently wore the Scarlet Darkness Corset Dress and overall I really like it. The corset design gives the dress a flattering, structured look that cinches the waist and creates a nice silhouette. The material feels light and comfortable, perfect for summer days or evenings out — not too heavy or itchy. The fit was mostly true to size, though I’d recommend double-checking the size chart before ordering because the corset area can be a bit snug if you’re between sizes. I appreciated how easy it was to style with sandals or heels, and it looked great in photos. My only minor issue was that the boning in the corset feels a bit firm at first, so it took some getting used to. But once adjusted, it was comfortable enough to wear for a few hours. I panic-ordered this dress the day before hosting my SIL's baby shower because apparently planning an entire event is easier than planning my own outfit. 🙃 Next-day delivery options were slim, but the pattern was perfect for a boy shower so I crossed my fingers and hit “buy.” BEST. DECISION. EVER. For reference: 5’9”, 175 lbs, very blessed in the chest department. I ordered a size large and it fit beautifully. Normally dresses with this kind of structured/corset vibe are not designed with big-boob energy in mind, but this one understood the assignment. I probably could have sized down, but the large was comfortable while still super flattering — which is the holy grail combination. The material feels way higher quality than I expected for a last-minute purchase, and I’m obsessed with the corset look without the corset struggle (because nobody has time to be laced into medieval armor before a baby shower).     • Comfortable, lovely, mid-range quality summer dress

This dress is beautiful, comfortable, and correctly sized. It is made of a very paper thin, cheap material from the feel. However, visually, it doesn't look as cheap as it feels. The cinching of the waist gives you that hourglass effect without crushing you/constricting you too much. I have a very large chest, and it fits my breasts quite comfortably and frames them well without overspilling (even without a bra). So, I was very, very surprised and happy about that. Stitching is inconsistent along the hem. Sometimes, the stitches show, sometimes they don't. Sometimes, it's ruffled. Sometimes it's not. But, that's only apparent if you are looking quite closely at the details of the dress to address quality. The elastic around the neckline is quite comfortable. It's fitted and doesn't slip down, without digging into your skin. All in all, a lovely mid-priced summer dress. It feels like fast fashion and will likely only hold up for maybe a year or two. So, keep that in mind if you're aiming for high quality, long-lasting garments. ... show more
