Ordered directly from Bunn. A note on the regular vs high altitude versions: It doesn't matter if you're living at regular altitude, this coffee maker will function perfectly fine either way! These coffee makers truly are as easy as it gets. Pour two pots of water into the tank and it's ready to go in 15 minutes! After that you simply pour in the amount of water you want it to brew using the carafe. 6 cups of water = 6 cups of coffee. This unit brews at the correct temperature for perfect coffee extraction every time! It's a steaming cup of properly brewed cup of coffee all the time every time! I usually brew six cups in the morning to go. That only takes about 2-3 minutes. Clean up is simple. Just rinse out the carafe and filter basket every time. Hand wash the carafe and filter basket every 3 days. Since it keeps water at brew temp in the tank all the time it will lose some to evaporation. All you gotta do is add water to the tank every other day or so. It can be a little confusing. If you want the best cup of coffee at home this is the machine for you. It's fast, it's brewed at the correct temp, and it's easy to operate. ... show more

This is the 3rd Bunn I have bought in 30 years. The Old one started leaking Water. It makes Coffee Quick, Not a lot of Fancy add ons, Just Coffee in 4 minutes. or HOT water for your Tea. Kind of a Weird Carafe compared to the former model, a little hard to empty Completely.

Oh wow! As I unpacked my brand new Bun, I was talking to my incarcerated son on the phone. I just cut right through the tag that was on the electrical cord and plugged it in. First thing. As we were chatting, I smelt that dreaded smell of plastic burning. I went and unplugged it and thought to myself, it's ruined! I've ruined my brand new coffee pot. So I waited a couple of hours filtered water in. Said a prayer or two because I would definitely have been a bad steward of my money If I had ruined my coffee pot. But I woke up the next morning and it actually worked! Best tasting coffee ever! I'm telling you, absolutely no bitter taste.
