Initial impressions are this case is very well made. It looks like it will hold up to substantial abuse. Heavy duty zippers, straps and handles. It will hold more weight than I can carry, so be careful not to overload it. I purchased this as a range bag to tote two or more firearms to the range and back. It appears to be slightly overkill for that purpose, but I like that. The sizes are exactly on target, which I consider a plus. Measure your guns and do not expect any leeway on the length. The internal rifle straps (hook & loop) are heavier than I expected and very versatile. I can't envision a situation that this case would not work. This is such an awesome long gun/handgun backpack bag. The ONLY issue I have with it, is that the carry handles are on the left hand side of the bag when carrying it in the backpack type of carry. For a right handed person (majority of mankind) is right handed, it is the opposite of all of Savior's long gun bags when you go to grab the carry handles when taking it off of your back. Don't let my review discourage you from buying this bag. Just know that if you are right handed, the carry handle (when carrying it on your back are on the left hand side. ... show more

This is a nicely made bag, but It's too bad it's not made here in America though. My only other complaint is that the pistol sleeves are extremely tight fitting for a full sized pistol. Good marks otherwise.

unfortunately, I feel the handgun storage is a little lacking, especially if you have multiple calibers. That might be specific to me though as I keep a large revolver for camping in bear country and a couple other large handguns. My biggest complaint is that with handguns and my range gear (Headphones, glasses, ect) the bag bulges considerably to the point that it's difficult to close. I'll be trying a few different loadouts, but I'm afraid my hand gun bag (also pictured, also from Savior) is going to have to be used in conjunction as an ammo and range equipment bag. I sure did buy this rather than the Coffin in an attempt to avoid multiple bags. Having said all that, the quality is excellent. Savior makes stellar stuff and I may just be asking too much. ... show more

Works as advertised. Holds my Bennelli M1014 and my Marlin 1895 Dark 45-70 with ease. The only negative thing I would say is that after awhile, it kind of gets a little floppy if you have a lot of ammo and equipment. Making the border padding a little more stiff/rigid would greatly reduce the flopping issue. The over the shoulder strap easily clasps on and off.
