This is one of the more expensive sofa covers, but it was worth every penny. My order will show the size I purchased for my L shaped sectional sofa. So I like the idea of the included cardboard pieces to help the cover stayed tucked in. But honestly, i found it much easier to use pool noodle pieces to get the cover tucked in. (You can find videos on YouTube on how to cut the noodle pieces and use them to tuck in your sofa cover). It took my husband and I quite a bit of time... the longest part was cutting the pool noodle to the size of tuck I had... so maybe get that done 1st, before trying to put your cover on. I think it looks rather nice. The material is very, very stretchy. I suggest 2 people do this. I also ordered a separate piece for the ottoman. ... show more

We just purchased a new sectional for our living room and we have two dogs who are allowed on the sofa. We want to preserve the sectional for as long as possible so we we’ve been looking for a sofa cover that would fit the sectional. It has been such a struggle to find a cover that fits and stays on. This one fits and stays on. Upon removing it from the package it didn’t look as if it would fit but the materials expands greatly. We were pleasantly surprised. Putting the cover on is definitely a team sport. While it’s not terribly hard to put on, it’s just easier and faster to get it on with two people. The cover comes with elastic clips that definitely require two people. The clips are nice to pull taut and cinch the cover underneath the couch. It also came with foldable cardboard that you fold into triangles to anchor the cover down between the cushions. At first glance we were certain the cardboard triangles were going to be a fail but they worked like a charm. The texture of the cover and the shape and texture of the triangles work great to keep them in place. We’ve pushed them down between the cushions as far as we can and for the most part they stay in place. We find that one’s located near the corner of the sectional tend to surface more than any other location. This could also be due to the fact that this is one of our pups favorite spots to lounge. I will say overall we are satisfied with these cardboard triangle anchors. As for the cover being waterproof, we really haven’t tested this. It doesn’t feel like it would be very waterproof. We opted to purchase a more quilted waterproof cover that sits on top of this cover which is easier to remove and throw in the wash, which we’ve had to do after one of the pups threw up a little on it. Honestly, this cover isn’t one we want to take on and off too often. So if you’ve been looking for a sofa cover and tired of trying covers that just don’t fit, give this one a try. The look is nice. The material is nice. The ability to get it to stay in place is AWFUL! I used the cardboard triangles that are given to keep it in place. Doesn’t work. I used my pups rubber bones which are much sturdier since the cardboard falls apart after a little while. That didn’t work either. It constantly pulls out from tucking it in and it rides up the sofa even though they give you elastic straps to keep in on. Now try to wash it and it washes nicely, however, trying to figure out how to get it back on is another adventure. If it was $100 and I tried it and it didn’t work, then my loss for trying,,,, when it’s this price and it's horrible then it’s a complete rip off! I plead with you not to waste your hard earned money on this,, especially not for a sectional. ... show more

When I opened the package I thought for sure this cover would be much too small for our large sectional. I was wrong. The material is incredibly stretchy and can expand an impressive amount. It did take some time for me to get it fit correctly even after watching the installation video multiple times. Once it was in place we were very pleased. It really looks like it belongs on the couch instead of just a cover. Multiple guests have asked us when we got our new couch not realizing it is the same couch with a new cover. My only gripe with the cover is the cardboard wedges that are provided. The were very annoying and were popping out after sitting a few times. I ended up going to the home depot and found some removable foam pipe insulation tubes (pretty much a pool noodle) and cut it lengthwise to fit our couch. They have not popped out once. The cardboard provided could also be abrasive and wear into the cover over time. The foam is the remedy. Love the setup! ... show more

    • Nice and protects, but hard to put on.

Pretty hard to get on my huge corner sectional. It does keep stuff off the couch like crumbs and spills. It's stretched so much at the corner that it just doesn't look right. Washes easy but then you have to wrestle it back on with the elastic straps that go underneath.

Perfect fit, just what I needed, the cardboard inserts are not the greatest, use upholstery pins they work best got mine a Hobby Lobby for 2 dollars a pack. It’s worth the money if you are trying to update your living space without spending thousands of dollars.
