First off unboxing it was easy the box had high quality staples that held it for transport. All parts were covered in protective plastic wrapping with care. The assembly process was so easy and thought out that you need absolutely no tools because it has large thumbscrews. The assembly booklet was well illustrated with large easy to read text with step by step pictures even your granny could put it together. Oh yeah, on the inside of the box it has a fisherman’s knot tying guide so do not discard the box. The rack is super sturdy and has soft cushions to keep your rods damage free. 6 stars ... show more

I do a few fishing trips around Florida every year and we camp or use an RV. We need a place to store rods verses leaning them up against everything and risk them falling and possibly breaking. We filled this rack. We had some wind blowing through from time to time and that made be a contributing factor in my only complaint about this rack. It has a tendency to lean when loaded. It leans from end to end. The rods are safe but agin I will say this rack is loaded and wind may be a factor. This rack will be used for these trips only. For the price, you can't beat this rod holder. Assembly is a breeze with no tools required. It is sturdier than I expected, but there are plastic brackets, so time will tell how well it holds up. Pay attention to the measurements (size) in the listing. This is not a large rod holder, but it suits my needs perfectly, as I don't have as many rods as some folks. Very nice fishing rod rack. I got the blue and it is indeed bright! Plenty of holders and holds them securely. Rack itself does have wobble side to side as the connection is plastic. Not enough to be a worry unless you are rough on it. Front to back it is very stable and will not tip over even with longer poles I it. Lots of holders on it! I put my specialty poles in the back and regular use in the front. Light enough so I can slide it out from the wall to remove back pole without worrying about it tipping over. Nicely padded slots for the poles. And they wedge in securely, but are very easy to remove. It is the standard retail shop design for displaying rods. Word of caution. Watch your ceiling height. The poles rest about 3 ½” off the floor and you can only adjust the bottom rack holder down so much. My 7’ 6” ceilings limit the pole length that can be put in it. I know, I know, not the racks fault. Just pointing it out as if you have one piece longer poles, go with a horizontal wall mount for them and this rack for the others. I would buy again and recommend to a friend. ... show more
