For the price, you can't beat this rod holder. Assembly is a breeze with no tools required. It is sturdier than I expected, but there are plastic brackets, so time will tell how well it holds up. Pay attention to the measurements (size) in the listing. This is not a large rod holder, but it suits my needs perfectly, as I don't have as many rods as some folks. I was moving and needed a different way to store my rods. I have a mix of offshore, inshore, and surf gear. In the biggest rack they sell, I was able to get 18 rods on there, including 8 offshore conventional setups. The rack is visually attractive and is decently sturdy. It is a light material and could be more sturdy, but it is the best I have found outside of homemade rod racks. The only drawback is it is sort of impossible to move the rod rack once it is loaded with rods. It sort of falls apart if you try to do that but otherwise no issues. I would not recommend this for ultra light rods as they will be too skinny and fall out of the rod holder guides. ... show more

I do a few fishing trips around Florida every year and we camp or use an RV. We need a place to store rods verses leaning them up against everything and risk them falling and possibly breaking. We filled this rack. We had some wind blowing through from time to time and that made be a contributing factor in my only complaint about this rack. It has a tendency to lean when loaded. It leans from end to end. The rods are safe but agin I will say this rack is loaded and wind may be a factor. This rack will be used for these trips only. This is a very nice rod rack. Assembly was easy. Holds my expensive rods with mounted reels securely. It has a scalloped rubber upper section where the fishing rod is cradled. I believe I will end up purchasing more.

Works exactly as described. Easy to assemble and is quite sturdy. Wish it had caster wheels but otherwise it is excellent. We have large offshore saltwater rods and reels which take up a lot of space. Still, I was able to get 19 of these big boys in the rack and still had room for about 5 smaller spin reels.
