I ordered 8 of these cabinets for my basement. 50% or 4 of them arrived with damage to the left door. This seems to be very common. Some were punctured, some were snapped in half, and the others had massive scars on the door. Thankfully this company has a good replacement part policy. I was able to go on their website, go to "service" and then "order replacement parts" and fill out the form and get new doors for all of them. The links to their website can be found on their amazon store in the help section or you can just google Sauder. Keep the manual though, it's required for the replacement to be processed because they want the model and lot number from the manual. The pic I've included shows the line of 5 cabinets plus 1 damaged one in the middle that's still awaiting the replacement left door. Once the shelfs are built they are light weight not durable, but look good and are very functional. The side panels are all very light weight and feel like they are made out of super thick cardboard, or super thin composite board. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I better be, I spent about $2,000 on all of these lol. Only 1 of the 8 was wobbly and I put it between two of the other cabinets which hides the wobble. I got so good at building these I can now build one in 1 hour 20 min flat without the instruction manual. Super easy steps to follow. The only step that is a gotcha is on page 9 step 5. When you put the center together make sure you screw in the two S82 screws into Q/X. The instructions aren't well marked there so that tripped me up twice and I ended up with extra screws. This shelf comes with no spare parts so if you have extras, go back to the manual and figure out what you missed. The doors are super easy to adjust and it's makes it easy to put these side by side and make them all match. I had zero issues with the structure of the shelfs, the holding capacity, the build, or the look. They all turned out great and match the well side by side. Anyways Godspeed, and I hope you enjoy the shelves as much as I did. If you want a good looking, functional storage shelf, I'd recommend this one. ... show more

Very pleased with cabinet. Looks great. Directions were clear. Only complaint I have is the magnets are on the bottom of the door only and are so strong that the door could easily warp from pulling so hard to open. I plan to purchase magnets myself and install at the top of the doors hoping to create some balance. ... show more

It would be 4.5 stars if I could. I really debated between 4 and 5. I bought this a few weeks ago during the October prime sale days, it was around $125. For that price I think it's a really good deal. I was looking for a pantry option but having trouble finding one under like $150-200. I'd been eyeing this one when it went on sale so decided to go for it. I really like it so far. Putting it together was a pretty average furniture building experience. If you've ever had to build furniture (especially an IKEA dresser) before you can do this. I did alone with no issue. The instructions were great. I did put a blanket down on my wood floors which I recommend but watch it doesn't get caught when putting it together. The latches on the doors are adjustable so you can line them up which is really nice! I put peel and stick wall paper on the back which was a fun touch. The brand has a site where you can order replacement parts. I tried to order more shelves and pegs but the email said they wouldn't sell them to me because the cabinet had been rated for a certain capacity or something. I had some large plastic organizing (y-weave) containers from Target that fit on the shelves, part of the reason I liked this one. They give you stickers to cover the screw holes that match the veneer. Because of the limited shelves I do lose some space using it as a pantry. You can only stack stuff so high. There's a wood piece across the top (like 3 inches wide) when you open it so it limits what you can put on the top shelf. I can't put my flour containers on the top shelf because they don't fit. Mildly annoying but not the end of the world. Feels pretty sturdy, I'm not afraid it'll fall on me but it also has a cheap vibe to it. The box it comes in is very tall and heavy. I had to open it up and bring it in piece by piece, shoutout to the delivery guy who got up to my building door. You'll need a drill if you plan to attach it to your wall with the strap thing. Otherwise I did it all with just a regular screwdriver and hammer. Overall for the price I think it's good. If there were more shelf options I think I would bump up my rating. I may change my mind later after using it longer. Edit: I moved to a new place and now this as craft/random storage. It holds the cube storage fabric boxes with some space to spare. I ended up keeping this cabinet over another one since I ended up like it so much. It made the move well (some other furniture didn't). ... show more

I bought this to store extra kitchen appliances as an add-on because we moved and My kitchen is much smaller than my previous kitchen. Had arrived with no damages, It does look very nice, the doors latch at the bottom with magnets, there is lots of room inside for storage, and I like the adjustable shelves. The outside walls are kind of a flimsy material, but seems sturdy enough for what I need, it's pretty light weight, but I wouldn't recommend moving it around too much. Assembly took me and my husband roughly about 2 hours, the instructions were pretty clear and everything was labeled appropriately. Is it worth almost $200, I'd say no, but the price of any type of furniture has skyrocketed. Would I buy it again, yes. ... show more

I purchased this cabinet to use in the kitchen/dining area as a pantry. I do read reviews and was concerned after reading a few but overall reviews were good. I put this together myself, my husband did help with the hinges, and I didn't have any issues, I followed the directions very easily. Everything lined up perfect. It's not heavy, just particle board so it's not a real wood cabinet, but for what I needed and the price, it's perfect. If you want a heavy, very sturdy cabinet, buy real wood. Otherwise, this is a great cabinet, great price and easy to assemble. The size is great, it actually has more space than I was expecting. Shelves can be adjusted to different heights.
