Sasylvia 12 Pcs 7' Drywall Corner Bead Kit for 1/2

After some flooding in our lower level basement we had to remove damaged drywall and redo a section of wall near our boiler room. These vinyl drywall corner beads worked perfectly for finishing the outside corners of the new sheetrock. The 7-foot length fit our basement walls well, and the vinyl material is lightweight but still sturdy. The perforated holes allow joint compound to push through and bond really well, which helped create very secure corners once everything dried. We installed them along the exposed corners where the new drywall meets the hallway wall. After applying joint compound and sanding, the corners came out straight, clean, and professional looking. I also like that the vinyl doesn’t dent or bend as easily as metal corner bead while you’re working, which made installation easier in a tighter basement space. The 12-pack gave us plenty to complete multiple corners during the repair project. Overall these worked exactly as expected and helped give our basement drywall repair a clean finished look.

Good Lot For a Full Project

This is a good lot of corner beads for drywall. It’s a large enough lot for a full project. It has all the holes needed for putty to settle into and hold securely. The seven foot lengths allow it to be long enough to run full length without worrying about seams, yet easily cut down to size as needed. It is sturdy, yet it’s also flexible enough to manipulate slightly. It will hug an inside or outside corner adequately. I plan to add an update if anything significantly changes for this item. Until then, it’s safe to assume everything is still consistent with this review.

Any brand of this product is surprisingly expensive. It's really just a soft plastic stick. Granted, it's precision built and it's hard to ship (You get a 7 foot long tube). All that said; these are valuable when finishing tile touching drywall. It makes the transition look clean and finished. It's easy to cut and do a 45 degree turn. It makes doing the drywall finishing a lot easier. So the time saving is worth it and the finished appearance is worth it as well. So despite my complaining about the cost, this is a worthwhile building product that I will use again.

Highly recommend for bathroom install

I ordered this for my friend to use as he was finishing up my bathroom update. He was pleasantly surprised with this product and said that it was easy to use and very smart as it's vinyl and is perfect for the wet and humid conditions. Good value nice finish for drywall edges

These corner bead are great to use as a termination detail next to finished woods, to back up an exposed drywall edge for extra durability or as a cheat for a sharp cut edge on painting projects. We found these corner beads are great as low cost ceramic tile edging, too!
