GAP Store “Cashsosft” Cropped Cardigan. I ordered this because the description says “cropped” which fits my short stature (the sleeves are still too long of course). The term “cashsoft” in the caption suggests it is made of cashmere … without actually saying so. Scroll down. Fabric type says “100% cotton” but it just didn’t feel like all cotton to me. It IS very soft, but a look at the tag inside: 53% cotton, 24% nylon, 23% acrylic. OK. It’s an acceptable sweater, I like it, I’ll wear it BUT I don’t appreciate the disconnect between the descriptive copy and the label in the garment. I especially think a cotton blend sweater is wildly overvalued at 69.95 USD at time of review. I can’t in good faith recommend it.

100% cotton cardigan. Runs a little large. Red color is dark burgundy.

100% cotton, button front, medium weight, cropped cardigan. I ordered an XXL in Tuscan Red. I was torn between XL and XXL, but their sizing guide and Amazon both suggested the XXL (my bust and waist both fall at the beginning of the range for the XXL) - so I got the XXL. However now I think the XL would likely have fit better. Because as you can see in the pix it’s a little large in the armpits - giving the cardigan a little bit of a boxy look and feel about it. When clothing is oversized I feel like it looks sloppy and makes me look heavy - so I prefer for things to fit. Not tight, just more tailored. For reference I have a 46” bust and a 39” waist and the XXL I’m wearing in the pix is just a little bit too big on me. However I don’t know if the XL would have been a better fit or not - the trade offs of online shopping… But then again it is 100% cotton and (until I wash it) I have no idea if there will be shrinkage? Hopefully if it does shrink it shrinks in width and not in length - as since it’s designed as a “crop” style it’s already at about waist length to begin with and I wouldn’t want to loose more length. I like the length exactly as it is currently. Washing instructions say to wash on cold (with buttons buttoned and inside out) on delicate cycle with like colors, and lay flat to dry (honestly not sure if I’ll be doing all that beyond maybe the first time - so will let you know how it turns out). So don’t know what all this means for future possible shrinking, pilling or color fading. I will have to update about that in the future after I’ve had opportunity to wear and then need to wash it. I don’t wash cardigans every time I wear them so this could take a while. Regarding the color Tuscan Red - I wouldn’t call this “red”. Definitely more of a burgundy. Dark burgundy. Not at all what I wanted and honestly I’m not a fan. Had I known it was burgundy instead of red then I would have gotten a different color or even just black. Final note - I forgot to mark this order when checking out that I wanted it in additional outer Amazon packaging. So it showed up on my porch in only the thin clear plastic bag the manufacturer packed it in. If you’d prefer to not have yours delivered the same way… I hope this review has been helpful. I recently purchased this GAP Cashsoft Cropped Cardigan, and I absolutely love it. The Cashsoft fabric is incredibly soft and luxurious—it truly feels like cashmere but is much easier to care for. The cropped length is stylish and perfect for pairing with high-waisted pants or dresses, giving me a modern silhouette. The B30 Grey Heather color is a beautiful, versatile neutral. The Perfect Cardigan

Love this Gap cardigan! First of all, it is incredible soft, I love the material. It's warm and stretchy, but still has some structure. I would say it runs very true to size, I ordered a Medium (I'm 5'8") and the length on the body and sleeves was perfect. It's a classic button-down style that goes with everything! Love!
