  • Absolute Monster of a GPU – Quiet, Cool, and Ridiculously Fast for this price point Absolute Monster of a GPU – Quiet, Cool, and Ridiculously Fast for this price point
I’ve been running the Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9070 XT for a while now, and it has exceeded my expectations in every meaningful way. Performance: This card absolutely rips at 4K. Modern AAA games run buttery smooth on ultra settings, and competitive titles push extremely high frame rates without breaking a sweat. Paired with a high-end CPU, it feels perfectly balanced and never bottlenecked. Thermals & Noise: Sapphire’s Nitro+ cooling solution is top-tier. Under heavy load, temperatures stay impressively low, and the card remains quiet — even during long gaming sessions. Zero coil whine on my unit, which is a huge plus. Build Quality: The card feels premium from the moment you install it. Solid backplate, excellent materials, and thoughtful design throughout. It’s a big card, but that size translates directly into better cooling and stability. Stability & Software: Rock solid so far. No crashes, no driver weirdness, and smooth performance across everything I’ve thrown at it. Adrenalin software has been easy to work with and feature-rich. Bottom Line: If you’re considering a high-end Radeon card, this is the one. Sapphire absolutely nailed the design, cooling, and performance balance here. It’s easily one of the best GPUs I’ve owned. ... show more

  • Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9070 XT Review-Major Leap from 6750 XT
The Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming OC 16GB is a substantial upgrade over my 6750 XT and firmly moved me from upper-midrange into high-end GPU territory. In real-world use, this translates to a significant uplift in performance, often in the 60–90% range depending on the title, along with much stronger 1440p consistency and true 4K viability. Frame pacing and 1% lows are noticeably improved, which reduces stutter in more demanding engines, especially newer titles built on heavier rendering pipelines. From a hardware standpoint, the Nitro+ variant distinguishes itself with one of the better cooling solutions. The triple-fan design and robust heatsink allow the card to maintain high boost clocks (often pushing into the 3.0 GHz range) without excessive noise or thermal throttling. Build quality is also a step above baseline models, with a reinforced frame, metal backplate, and overall premium construction that aligns with its positioning as a flagship-tier card. There are, however, practical considerations. The card is physically large, occupying over three slots and stretching well beyond 300mm in length, so case compatibility needs to be verified. Power draw is also higher than the previous 6750 XT, making a reliable 850W power supply advisable. While ray tracing performance has improved significantly compared to RDNA 2, it still does not match the top-end offerings from NVIDIA in heavily ray-traced workloads. Additionally, the Nitro+ commands a price premium, meaning you are paying extra for thermals, acoustics, and build quality rather than pure performance per dollar. Overall, coming from a 6750 XT, the experience is not a marginal upgrade but a meaningful leap. You will notice it immediately in demanding games, higher resolutions, and overall system responsiveness under load, even if lighter or CPU-bound titles show less dramatic gains. ... show more

  • Best GPU I've owned
After sending back other 9070xt cards from Asus and Gigabyte I finally coughed up the extra cash to get this beast. It's CHONKY but so cool and quiet. The 12v cabling than gets routed straight up the underside of the card and is covered by the backplate looks soooooooooooo clean. Very happy with this card. ... show more

  • Excellent Performance, Worth The Price
This thing chews up and spits out everything at 2k. I haven't bought a Radeon graphics card since before AMD bought them out, but since the nVidia equivalent of this card is $1200 more expensive for 10% more performance, I figured it was time to switch. DLSS isn't THAT good. The only downside, of course, is that it takes up three expansion slots. I don't particularly trust the included brace to do all that much, so I would suggest getting something to stick under the thing from bellow to hold some of the weight. Obviously it isn't a small purchase, but I feel like I got more than I paid for. ... show more

  • very good GPU and well made but annoying connectors for power and RGB
I haven't yet used any performance measuring tool to check the GPU performance or play a relatively recent graphics demanding game. I did however play an older game using 4k at 120Hz and it is able to handle constant frame rates with no stutter whatsoever, something that my prior 2080 RTX Super had problems on 1080p at 60Hz, so definitely a major upgrade. To verify you are indeed outputting 4k at 120Hz, make sure to install latest updates and change settings for output monitor in windows settings. If connecting via A/V receiver to the TV/monitor, make sure you change the HDMI settings to enhanced 8k or whatever your specific version of receiver is, to make sure the signal is not degraded. Also, this GPU seems to be very well made and sturdy, but it is heavy. It was definitely sagging on the end even with the support bracket. I advise purchasing a GPU support bracket (it supports it from beneath), as I suspect that over a long period of time, it may bend/break the motherboard and even the GPU, perhaps causing irreversible damage. A couple of things I disliked about are the inner pin connector and the RGB pin connector. Make sure your power cables are flexible enough to be plugged in the inner connector. As for the RGB connector, I tried inserting the cable connector and applied medium force (I was very careful) and it bent inwards. I tried using tweezers very gently but each time I brought the RGB connector back it easily bent inwards when I tried to connect until it broke and fell. ... show more

  • Good performance and quiet card.
I have it 2 weeks by now and its very quiet and runing all gpu heavy games on maximum settings. temperature is 65c+ and in hotspot 85c+ while gaming. Card feels solid and lighting decent. Like it so far. Good card for its price.

  • It's a beast is performance and size
7months with this card and its been awsome! I have two monitors one being 1440p 240hz and 1080p 360hz which i switch between, I play anything from resident evil games to AAA competitive titles and it handles everything very well at peak fps no problem. Fair warning to everyone...this card is BIG, I'm rocking the OG corsair 4000D, paired with a newer gen 360mm arctic liquid aio, the radiator on the aio is thicker than your normal radiator. Majority of complaints about this aio is that its thick. With the help of someone else we had to squeeze the GPU into the case because of the size of the GPU and RADIATOR. ... show more
