I bought this unit to replace a Santa Fe Compact 2 I had for 10 years. I live in NC and it gets incredibly humid here and this unit is great. Brings down the humidity fast and makes our basement comfortable. I also like their customer service. The defrost thermostat needed to be replaced in my prior unit and they sent the part which was just about $25 and provided instructions I was able to replace myself.     • Good but not good
I have had one for five years but can’t get it serviced. I needed one when it went out so I bought another like it ani it will be same thing . It works good when it works but this is my last one unless they send how to service,. The say use appliance repair but I guess I am not luck. All it would take is one little sheet of paper with instructions but when you call about it get the wrong people I guess. Would I buy another one. No no no. MDK ... show more
