Brightness is okay but the photocell sensor is too sensitive. It turns on very early and turns off very late. I’m thinking of returning them and try the other brands.

The way my porch is set up, I get a lot of shade which would cause my other dusk to dawn lightbulbs to come on during the day and not go off in the morning. But this bulb works perfectly. It has a very bright light that comes on at dusk and is off by dawn. I can't speak on it's longevity because I haven't had it that long, but it was definitely a good value for the money.     • Nice led bulb but not for all fixtures
Imagine my disappointment when I unscrewed my 100w equivalent first generation cree led bulb from a floor lamp to replace it with this 150w equivalent bulb, turned it on and... nothing! I thought at first I had a bad bulb so tested it in another fixture and it came on, brightly. Comparing this bulb with the one it was replacing I discovered the shape of this bulb just above the screw base was larger such that the bulb bottomed on the socket shell and not on the center contact inside the socket. I carefully pried up the center contact in the socket with a screwdriver (power off of course, I'm an engineer 8-) By adjusting the center contact in the socket I was able to make this bulb work in my floor lamp but this was a hassle and should not have been required. Hence only 4 stars. Giving this bulb 5 stars for longevity (so far it's been installed a whole day 8-) Light color is pleasing unlike many early "warm white" bulbs that looked yellow or yellow-green to me. ... show more
