This bulb started off really great but after 2 months it was half as bright as when I originally installed it. I installed it in a simple desk lamp without a dimmer feature. A simple on and off switch. It was in my bedroom and only used for about an hour or two per day over a 3-month period. Three months later and it gives off as much light as a lightning bug. Its completely useless. I paid more than $25 dollars for one single light bulb that is going to the garbage. The photo I took should be blinding the lens of my camera phone instead it looks like I am trying to set a romantic mood. ... show more

Was looking forward to a bright dimmable LED, but this one was only great for a couple of hours. After a few hours of being on, it keeps cycling between being bright, dim, or off. Perhaps it is overheating, but that seems like a design flaw then as no other bulb ever failed like that in the same socket in my house. ... show more
